Very happy with purchase
I was hesitant to purchase this unit based on the number of unfavorable reviews, but am glad I took the chance. I’m replacing a Netgear Unite Pro with this unit. The unite pro started to rebooted very often (sometimes 3 or 4 times within a half-hour time period) and sometimes failed to broadcast the wifi signal when I first turned it on (which required me to manually reboot it).The Inseego unit I received came with “all” the listed accessories (two batteries; wall charger; charging cable; sim card; sim ejector tool; screen protector; and travel bag). You will need to purchase a data plan (or already have a plan and sim that will work) to use this hotspot and I was able to purchase a new plan using the included sim card at the AT&T website. I was able to use the unit within 10 minutes of completing the purchase.Performance will vary with location and time of day. I average about 28MB down, and 15MB up on speed tests. The highest I’ve got so far is 62MB down, and 24MB up (fairly early in the morning) and the lowest was 12MB down and 8MB up. I usually have 3 or 4 signal bars. I’ve only had the unit about a week, but haven’t had any issues with it so far.For those wondering if this hotspot is unlocked, I would say the one I received was. I took the Cricket sim card (with active service) out of my Netgear Unite Pro hotspot and put it in, but it did not work. However, when I took the sim card out of my smart phone which has service thru MVNO Tello on the T-mobile network, it did work for data. I think the reason why the cricket sim didn’t work is because they have their service tied to your device IMEI number (cricket runs on AT&T’s network). I would need to call them and tell them I got a new device and they would switch it over to the Inseego device, (then it would no longer work in the unite pro). The reason I didn’t do this is because the cricket plan I have (i.e., had) is $35/month for 20GB and AT&T had a plan of $25/month for 20GB. The only catch is I had to prepay for 12 months to get that price.I found this purchase to be an excellent valve overall and would recommend it to anyone who just needs on-the-go Internet access (or backup Internet) and doesn’t need 5G service. I expect 4G LTE to be around for many years to come. I would not recommend it as a primary home internet source unless you’re a relatively light data user (< 100GB per month). Other sources (cable, fiber, wireless home internet plans) will be cheaper because of the high cost associated with data only plans that have large data allotments.

Buy a different brand
Purchased mid April for our RV. Quit working mid June. Used maybe 10 days. Worked ok for a while. Would NOT recommend.

Works Great
I bought this so we could go camping more often, and me still be able to work. It's perfect. Easy to use. Added to my existing AT&T plan. Very affordable and we had no issues or buffering.

works great
it connects well and fast. I can take it almost anywhere where there is cell service. my only gripe is the power gets used up fairly quickly. gotta constantly charge it. also it takes 3-4 minutes to turn on. also just to check the battery.

Amazingly convenient and you can take it on the go!
It's kept charge very well, I like that you can kick people off if they come and sneak ur password while you're sleeping. I live in a group home and ppl be sneaky AF. This was a very good buy for me. I like it!

No help from Amazon or the seller
This showed up with no SIM card and I reached out to Amazon and they couldn’t help and I never heard from the seller, I bought a SIM card from Best Buy and it seems to be working well.

stopped charging after 6 months of use
This device worked well for me for only 6 months, then it stopped charging itself. I used the 2 batteries that came with it, then ordered another battery and all 3 batteries will not work with this, it will not stay charged, I plug it in and it looks like its charging, but it only goes down to 0 then turns itself off. I am very disappointed, and would recommend you buy something different.

Must be plugged in
It works for service pretty decent but it drains battery at an insane speed. If you do not have somewhere to keep this plugged in while in use it will die in minutes, even if it's turned off the battery still drains.
