These are life savers!
These could save your life. They store forever, and are simple to use. If you ever have a disaster, and have no running water, these make practically all water safe to drink, with some exceptions obviously. I live in Southern California, and of course the Big One (earthquake), could ruin my day at some point.....but at least I know I can drink any stored water! I have these in all my vehicles, plus bug out bags, and of course at home. You just remove the wrapper, uncover the tip, place the filter side in water, and suck up the now filtered water. When done, there's a cap to prevent dirt intrusion. These are good for a bunch of gallons, I can't remember how many, but it's enough to survive a rough patch for sure.

Bang for your buck!
Works great! If you’re thinking of going camping any time soon, this is a great and lightweight item to carry. It’s compact, lasts you a long time, and is generally inexpensive. It does its job well, but you do have to suck quite hard to get the water flowing but that’s just the filter doing its job. Easy to use, pretty self-intuitive. Overall, a survival kit must-have!

Great in a pinch
The image is dirty soiled water. Leaves tiny bit of sediment. Tastes fine. Works better as a straw. Not spring water by any means but it's fine.Salt water.... still salty.Gatorade mixed in water turned clear with slight Gatorade flavor.All in all I think if you were around freshwater of any sort this would be beneficial.

Yup filters water makes it taste a little like plastic but better than getting sick drinking contaminated water.

I keep this in my backpack i take hiking and dirtbiking even tho i have a hydration pack i never know when SHTF and i gotta disappear, water is #1 priority, even tho i have and usually do drink the water from streams without a life straw I’m trying to get in the habit of being safer than sorry, thankfully i haven’t been sorry yet!
