SoundBot SB520 Premium 3D Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker (Gold)

Got this after buying a similarly priced speaker that had no available instructions for pairing, battery placement, etc. this looked good and was well reviewed. Love it. Came in a black box, with a full set of instruction. Had a question, e mailed support, resolved within 2 hours.Fit and finish are great. As clean looking and sharp as the photo in the ad. Comes with all cables needed, and even they are cool. Black and green fabric covered.Lastly, the sound. Unlike other reviewers, I am not an expert. I will tell you that I thought that the bass was really prominent, however it is perfectly fine for casual listening. As others have said, this will not and should not replace expensive speakers. I remain impressed with so small, so much sound.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom. The sound was loud at first for two weeks. Then it wasn't as loud. The 3D audio switch seemed like a gimmick. Because, it was. The only difference was the base. On top of that, the original and the replacement I had tot get suffered from the most ridiculous faulty part, the charging port. Literally the inside of the charging port fell into the speaker meaning we couldn't charge it anymore.

This speaker.. it's garbage, which is disappointing because my brother got one of this companies speakers and it works awesome! But my complaints are the following, aux port came inafetive.. you have to hold the aux cord just right to make it work and it came with this issue, and they aux cord it came with doesn't even fit, the second issue I have is that the speaker blue tooth capability is crap! It will disconnect me when I'm 5 feet away with full battery on the system. Completely unsatisfied.

Love this speaker. Wish I had bought 2 of them. The sound is great and it holds a charge for days, and I use it every weekday on my 90 minute drive each way to and from work.The only thing that I would say is a problem, is the side speakers are not covered like the front speakers, so I worry about bumping or dropping it and puncturing the speakers. And if you should get the sides too close to something, the speakers will vibrate against it and sound like they are blown until you move it away. They should of put the same aluminum cover on them as they did the front.

THIS IS AN AMAZING SPEAKER....and the sale price was amazing!!!! I watched a movie on my computer and connected the speaker via bluetooth. Seamless connection...and INCREDIBLE, AMAZING SOUND. My sister and I felt like we were watching the movie in a theater!! DEFINITELY recommend.

The sound is incredible. I have only a bit of experience with portable speakers, but this did blow away my expectations. It also looks very classy and was a bit heavier than I expected. The green cables that come with it actually get plugged into the front/top part of it, so it ends up looking unsightly...not sure why they did that. I had problems with the bluetooth and the speaker also crackled and didn't work sometimes. Soundbot customer service is great though and they offered to give me a refund. I bought it on Amazon for $39 a couple of months ago but now I see it's $99! I was going to give it another try, but now I'm not sure if I would spend that much for it, given the flawed one I received. For $99, I would shop around more to see if there's a much better one at that price range.

Incredible speaker for the price. The bass is very solid and the sound rich. While I wont compare it to a Bose or Harmon Kardon, it kills the $129 Sony I bought. While I paid $32, this speaker could easily be $100 or more. Very easy to sync and 4-5 battey life. Highly recommended!

Not as loud as I expected. The sound cuts out in a very short distance... Without even being away from the device my music would cut out just sitting on my bed and having the speaker on my dresser (about 4 feet away from me). Not worth the money.... Invest in a better speaker.The packaging was decently nice, speaker looks nice as well. My only issue with this is the actual functionality of the speaker, which is a big part of the whole thing and which is why it is receiving two stars from me.
