I primarily use this in the morning to refresh my bangs, even if I just showered before bed my bangs get oily and flat though the night. I've used dry shampoos from the higher end of the price spectrum, and this is such a keeper! This awesome dry shampoo makes hair soft and takes the oiliness away without making the hair too gritty as other dry shampoos tend to do, and its easy to brush out/ rub out of even really dark hair like mine. Neither does this make the hair too matte, its light and makes my hair bouncy and soft. The scent is not that noteworthy, i barely smell the scent , but that is also a good thing since if you want to use this in a small bathroom or in your car you wont asphyxiate from too much perfume smell nor will the smell clash with your own perfume. Will be a regular buy from now on!

I purchased this item on 4/30/2019 and I have not been impressed so far. I found another product I absolutely love but it’s super pricey! This product had really good reviews so I decided to try it out. It’s not awful but it’s doesn't do anything for my hair. I use it in between my washes and I don’t think it really helps at all. My hair doesn’t get super greasy I’m between washes but it’s just something I notice. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the return policy well because it’s not returnable due to it being a flammable. Since the reviews are high it could very well be my hair but typical dry shampoos work for me. There isn’t a bad scent at all and no white residue on my blonde hair.

I tried this dry shampoo on a whim - I have a few favorites I have repurchased again and again - but every now and then I get an itch to see if there’s something better (bonus if it’s cheaper, too!)This dry shampoo might be amazing for some people - but it just doesn’t work well for me. I rated it 5 stars for scent and value - because it hits those markers. No scent (which is preferable to me), it doesn’t feel heavy, and it’s very reasonably priced. But I don’t just want grease absorption - I also want some texture and have found many brands that do this for me. It has a bit of a conditioning aspect too - I’m not sure if it’s because the product is just overall less gritty than my preferred brands, or if it’s because it’s actually *not* absorbing oils the way it’s intended. This isn’t a terrible option if you’ve got thick hair that just needs a refresh - unfortunately, my hair is thin, and I need my dry shampoo to add something (texture and volume) rather than weigh it down.This might be your perfect dry shampoo - but for me, it will not be a repurchase. Also, if this is your intro to dry shampoo and you hate it - don’t give up. I’ve been using dry shampoo for a solid 10 years now, and it’s an absolute hair staple for me. Without product I have fine, thin, pin-straight hair. With a good blend of texturizers and dry shampoo I can get some decent volume and my bobby pins will actually stay in my hair.

I haven't used dry shampoo for years because they left a white residue on my scalp and the results were not that great. But, I was having major back surgery and knowing I'd be unable to wash my hair, I purchased this product. To my amazement, it left my hair clean and no residue. All total I was in the hospital for 10 days and used it 3 times. It would last 3 days and I'd have To repeat. And to be real by the third time, my hair wasn't looking all that good, but it was better than it would have looked, my hair just really needed a shampoo. Totally would recommend this product. My hair is fine, shoulder length and tends to be oily looking after 3 days in between shampooing. My husband was even impressed, as he has to help me while I was recuperating in the hospital.

This product is very lightweight. I wish that it was a little heavier to add some texture and more hold for curls. That said, if you are looking to simply absorb oil and increase time between washes, this is a great product.

I'm so disappointed in this purchase. Worse off, I can't even return the item because of Amazon not willing accept returns on aerosol spray cans.This spray is absolutely not for dark hair.The spray itself comes out in a thick white consistency and it takes a LOT of spray to remove even the most minimal amounts of oil. My scalp runs on the dry, non-oily side of things, and I tried to use this on the second day of no hair wash. So truly, minimum oil. Unfortunately, you have to use so much of the spray to counter act even the most minimal amounts of oil that it winds up turning your hair white. Then it's impossible to get it to blend. If you do over spray, the white stuff literally crumbles out of your hair. If you try to brush it off with your hand, you're left with white streaks all over your clothes.There seems to be no way to counter act these issues. I've tried spraying at different distances and I've tried holding the nozzle down very gently, but it just takes a lot of product and then winds up looking terrible because this is so not made for dark hair. I've tried spraying super closely to the scalp. Honestly, the consistency is like semi-liquid baby powder.I want my money back. I'm never gonna use this. I wouldn't even re-gift this to my worst enemy.Also it smells not ideal and is difficult to wash out even when just used in a test spot. I'm actually embarrassed to have my hair smell this way. I wound up just hopping in the shower after each attempt to use it and saying "**** it" because spending an hour on my hair is more ideal than looking terrible with this junk.

For reference, I have a lot of fine, voluminous hair that gets greasy by day 2. I've tried dozens of dry shampoos ($5-$30). This dry shampoo has no scent and doesn't leave a white cast on dark hair.. but I've discovered it's because it does literally nothing at all. It was like I sprayed plain, canned air into my hair. Needless to say, the entire point of utilizing a dry shampoo was defeated - my hair was still greasy, still flat, and dull. An absolute waste of money and no refund option. I bought it for $8, no idea why it's price has doubled but I wouldn't use it again even if it were free. Pass.
