So far, pump works great. It works exactly as advertised. My is running and its raining! My battery seems to last about 2 hours after sun no longer shines on it. The only small annoyance is when I pick it up to move it or change the spray nozzles, it stops pumping for about an hour. But so far, it starts working again, so I would just leave it alone and make sure you keep checking the water level. On windy days it will almost empty the bird bath. Definitely thinking of buying another one for the front yard...

It works and very easy to restart if your birdbath runs out of water. However, even a large birdbath runs dry pretty quickly as the fountain evaporates the water as it works. It has no water to replace it like a pump would do. So, use in a shady spot or close to the house so that you can replenish the water often.If you want it to stay centered or in a certain spot, you can use rocks to keep it from spinning around, but that takes up water space.It's a good product but the issues are just the price for something simple that doesn't need a pump or electricity.

I bought based on good reviews. It worked fine for 3 months despite not being able to use the spray tops due to water being sprayed out of the birdbath. It just quit. I’ve tried leaving in full sun for a day, keeping it dark for 3 min and then turning over to put in the birdbath. No go. I’ve had to restart it before. This is different. I had water in the bath the whole time. It wasn’t clogged on the intake. Now I don’t seem to be able to take advantage of the 1 year warranty because the seller I bought from (conxwan) doesn’t seem to be on here anymore. From other reviews I see today, I’m guessing even a replacement wouldn’t work longer.

Must revise previous review. You would think this product could last one season, especially with regular cleaning. It did not.Delayed review as it took a bit to find right fit. First used shallow enameled pan on metal stand; but water would squirt out of the sides & always ended up with pump running on empty no matter the nozzle configuration. Also backyard is shady, so only 4-5 hrs fountain flow daily. Larger tub, front yard, several days of determining which nozzle configuration confine water flow to inside container best, PLUS a pool noodle float painted black to keep the fountain better centered in the tub. Presto! Delighted with this little fountain. Works all day in sun. Going to purchase laundry bluing to color water next. Purchased electric pump for shady backyard ---this also works out best for raccoons, chipmunks, and squirrels!

Fountain worked during CT summer season of 2019. Cute little fountain in my deck birdbath. Spray height depended on sunlight as expected. (Mother’s Day gift in May). Cleaned and Stored away in my sunroom for winter by October. Reset patio furniture and birdbath for 2020Season in Mid April. Solar fountain worked for a couple weeks and never again. About 11 mos from purchase. We took care of this fountain and cleaned/ added water often as needed. It started daily and some times had to subject to dark conditions to rejuvenate per directions. This time it conked out. Cleaned/clean water/ dark restart ... nothing. Less than a year and evidently no longer a seller on here. $24.99 down the drain.

I wasn't able to get this product to work. I noticed right away that the motor was loud. I set it out today, and it doesn't appear to have enough pressure to squirt water. I took the attachment off, and for a moment, water came out of the spout, but it was a dribble. Now it isn't working at all, I can't hear the motor and it is sitting in direct sunlight. Very disappointed and will be returning. As you can see from the picture, it's not shooting out any water at all, even though at the time the picture was taken, the motor was running.As far as assembly, the parts don't snap into place easily. I don't recommend this product.

It works great in my pool due to the amount of water and cleanliness, however it does not work in my bird bath as I had purchased it for. It is always running out of water and getting clogged from a stray flower or leaf. FYI: My bird bath is large and holds a decent amount of water, but the fountain gets caught in the wind and the water goes outside of the bath making the water low within hours. It now sits in my pool. I am a little disappointed.

this fountain is not worth the money, I spent extra to get a battery backup so it would work all the time without or with sun and it did not, the only way it works at all is with direct sunlight constantly and even then sometimes it just doesn't pump the water through, even keeping it in a full fountain of water, it's just another waste of money
