I love this book because of the enormous amount of wonderful writing I got in one book-- and at a wonderful price!It seems that every time I read stories by Edgar Allan Poe I get a little bit smarter!

So many books are being taken out of print by a delusional ideology that believes books are inherently biased, racist or just evil. It's bad enough our children are being robbed of a decent education, let alone taking away a certain level of cultural growth by sitting down with a classic read. I'm buying books just like this one and many others in hopes of preserving a little piece of literary history and passing them down to my children with the hope they pass them on to their own.Semper Fi!C.S. The cover of this book is good quality and has the same print as shown on the paper. However, the pages of the book are made up of a thin, flimsy material. It is distracting, since you can see the ink bleed from the other side of each page. The pages are a bright white, and feel unsubstantial. There are no images in the book, only one header art reused. Overal ithe book is fine, I gave it 4 instead of 3 stars since the cover is nice, and the book is quite inclusive of all of Poe's works.

Pages are thin, but that is to expect in some collection books like this, as a person who already know the stories and bought mostly for shelf showcasing, it fits perfectly my needs.

Although the book seems to be in good shape, the jacket is shameful as you can see. For a NEW book, the jacket should be impeccable and as you can see, is obviously not. It was in a tightly packed box so I believe it was like this prior to shipping.

I got this for my nephew. I already have the complete works of Edgar Allen Poe. He though it was strangely different but, he liked it.
