Very sweet (as should be) with the wonderful , true aroma and taste of anise seeds.A must for recipes that require the real thing.Bulk cost is unbeatable.Tips: Not all ground anise seeds are created equal. When buying ground anise seeds, make sure that the word "seeds" or "aniseed" is in the product name (it may seem obvious, but some companies sell a ground mix made of the entire plant and don't include "seeds" in the name for obvious legal reasons). Also, once you get the product, taste it. Ground anise seeds should be very sweet. Actual taste depends on where the seeds come from (i.e. in what region and soil the plants grew), but all brands that sell the real deal are pretty close to each other taste-wise.

I ordered a second time, but did not receive it. It is very tasty. I love it and recommend it. I have to research where my 2nd order went to, if it was sent or what. It is supposed to be on prime and should have gotten.

You get a ton of it for not a lot of money.
