Changed my opinion
The first time I used the machine was not successful. I spoke with the company and was advised my cream was to thick. I tried again with Jersey cream and a bit of milk. Success! 5 cups of cream was the magic sweet spot. Took about 5 minutes and I was rinsing the butter. Very happy with my churn.

Very quiet!
I was shocked on how quiet it is! Worked well. A half gallon of thick cream was a little too much for it, but butter did turn really quick! No mess! Love it!

It does the job. Some caveats though.
Well, it churns butter. You can only fill it 1/2 way per the instructions. You need to be very careful not to get crap up into the motor. Its not a sealed motor, and because the shaft has a flat side, it allows liquids to flow past it up into the motor (so when you pull it out, or dry it, always leave the motor facing down. On a side note, when your motor seizes up, I used an advanced commercial "break free/liquid wrench" (beyond WD-40, this stuff was 'anti-corrosion, anti-rust, !!!!!!electronics safe!!!!!' .... and I just sprayed it up there and cleaned out the shaft area until it turned again).A little bit of engineering work would solve the issue (the sealing issue/flow through the gasket). Crap gasket. crap crap crap.Did I mention it churns butter? Makes some really good butter.OH, make sure the paint stirrer is very firmly attached (with the allen wrench on the screw). Horrible design, single bolt construction and you'll probably drop it off at some point. Not a big deal when it comes off (the motor just spins and the spinner just sits on the bottom of the jar. But, its long enough to easily grab and re-attach. \Don't lose the black rubber do-dads. Don't lose what I found out at the hardware store are "Acorn nuts" .....Makes butter. Easier cleanup than using the kitchenaid, BY FAR!!! But, keep the area between the lid and the motor clean and dry, and don't let fluids drain into the unsealed motor. Did I mention horrible design?Reasonably happy. Running ours since January, and its only seized up once.
