Very simple but lots of underlying strategy!

Players: 2-4Play time: between 15-20minAges: I'd say 8+THEME-- No theme at all.This is an abstract game where you are collecting chips of different colors...that is it.Any attempt at theme is wasted as it plays no part in this game.GAMEPLAYOne stack is hidden in your hand. Then on your turn you will:1. Study = take a stack and add it to your board2. Train = take the top tile from a stack on your board, an opponent's board, or from the draw pile.3. Play a tile from your hand = whatever color you play in that colored spot, then the other players showing the same color could also move it down.When the last stack is gone in the middle, then the game ends and scoring happens. Player with lowest stacks is eliminated. Player with the largest stack(s) is the winner.COMPONENTS+ Good artwork.+ Even though there are four different colors, which may cause some colorblind people challenges, there are at least symbols on each colored tile.-- Cheap plastic "tiles". Yes, makes it easy to stack, but they don't feel like there is much substance there and that is the main component of the game.LUCK/STRATEGYSome randomness at the start with how the tiles are stacked, but nothing that will give anyone a lead, which is good in that it is fairly balanced.Strategy is medium, since there are lots of decisions to make and you have to pay attention to block others by taking from their stack.REPLAYABILITYSo-so. Each game is a different attempt to do the same things.Yes, one game I may be focused on Red and another game focused on both Green and Blue, but I'm doing the same things. Building up my stacks, avoiding being the lowest in any stack, and taking from the stacks of others when possible.+ Affordable at the time of this writing.Around $15, which isn't bad at all for a 4-player game.OVERALL:It is a good game.It is definitely a filler game and because of that I'm giving it an extra star, since it does what it needs to do as a filler.Unfortunately, nothing to make this memorable or stand-out from the bazillion of other games in this similiar price point and/or player count.

My wife and I enjoy playing games occasionally while we listen to music. We thoroughly enjoyed this one and plan to play it weekly.It is a bit complicated at first, so I recommend a couple trial games at first. After a few games, you'll start to get a sense of how to use strategy to defeat your opponent.This game is much deeper than it first appears, and I love that you can finish a game in 15-20 minutes. The price is fair, and I think a lot of people, young and old, can enjoy it on different levels.

It only took us one time through to figure out this game and it really does only take 15 minutes max to play a game. My wife and I played through three quick games and found it very fun. I wouldn't say we have played enough to figure out all the strategies, but there is an interesting level of strategy to this game. I recommend this game to anyone that need a quick easy to play game.

The game arrived sealed, but was missing the instructions. All other pieces looked to be in the package as stated on the back of the box. Luckily the instructions can be downloaded from the manufacturer website, but is an inconvenience. While this doesn't hamper the game play after having to seek out the rules of play, I will certainly not recommend this game due to poor/non-existent quality control.

Brought this game to a game group get together as a short filler game. The group liked it so much it ended up being the only game we played all night. We just kept saying lets play again and before we knew it the evening was over. The game takes about 15 minutes to play with 4 players . It is a very simple game but it actually has a deep strategy. This may be to light for hardcore gamers but we all found it to be great fun. I highly recommend this game.

I really enjoyed the game when I tried it at a friends house. However, this supposedly brand new box was delivered missing 2 of the required sets of tiles. Can’t play the game when half of it is missing. Hopefully the seller will be able to fix this.
