I was looking for a way to mount a toilet paper holder to the bathroom vanity without drilling holes. This worked perfectly. I’ve had it hanging for a few months through daily steamy showers. It hasn’t faltered once. I was actually prepared for it to not stick based on some of the reviews. I don’t know what they did differently, but I tried pulling on it. I think it would pull the wood loose before the adhesive would yield. Don’t hang it until you’re absolutely sure of it’s placement. I do believe it would damage paint, drywall, and wallpaper if you pull it off.The holder itself is simple but very sleek. I’ve not noticed any type rust or deterioration of the metal.

I moved into an apartment that has a tiny bathroom and there was no toilet paper holder installed in it. I thought about all the places you would install one: the wall, the side of the vanity, etc., and all of them had their drawbacks. My bathroom is the sort where, if you are perched on the throne, the door is to your side just at the end of the toilet. I realized the best place for a toilet paper holder would be the back of the door, and I started searching for an adhesive one.I love this toilet paper holder. I love how sturdy it is, how easy it was to install, and I love that it doesn't have a spring-loaded tube for holding the toilet paper. My parents live with me and my mother has issues with hand strength, so she is very happy not to have to wrestle with the toilet paper holder when it's time to change a roll.Even if I had my own home and I could drill into the wall, I would still buy this toilet paper holder. It's just so simple and nice and stylish and easy to install. I never thought that someone could improve on the design of a toilet paper holder, but I was wrong. This thing is just perfect.

Great toilet paper holder. We had one that was installed in the wall. When it fell out, it left some pretty ugly holes and I wasn't sure how to go about covering them up, or replacing the holder. I saw this holder and figured maybe it could double as a new TP holder, and something nice to cover up the new holes in the wall. It did just that. It works very well, sticks well too! In addition to this, it completely covers the area where the old holder was and it looks really great all around. No one would ever guess it's just stuck to the wall with a command strip type item. Great purchase!

Needed to have a holder that would easily hang and replace a recessed holder in a restroom at our business. This unit stuck right on and allowed the roll to hang right over where the now unusable unit is. In initially installing it it does not give one a warm fuzzy feeling about it staying up without anything but the adhesive backing but it has stayed where it belongs and is stable. I do wish there had been a screw on option but so far so good.

Planning to renovate my tiny bathroom and there is NO room for an tp holder screwed into the wall. They are all too wide and stick out too far from the wall.This is not only small in width, but sticks out only as far as the (always-decreasing) diameter of the tp roll itself.As another commenter pointed out, make sure you position the tp mount opposite the tissue's "pull" direction, else you will pull the tp roll off and it will bounce across the floor.I *thought* I knew the right direction, but not trusting myself, I taped it to the wall with some of that no-residue duct tape and, lo, it was the wrong direction, so I flipped it over and taped it back for further "testing".Also, while I'm not a fan of satin finish (or anything but chrome) bathroom fixtures, because always get tarnished-looking over time, I make an except for tp holders - does anyone really want to draw attention to one of these? ;-)

I never write reviews, but I felt obligated to write one about how this made my life so easy! I am a woman and the thought of using a drill bit, an anchor and then a screw to hang a toilet paper holder in my 100 year plaster walls and it was giving me anxiety. My husband showers daily and the moisture level in the bathroom is extremely high so I thought this would never stick. To my dismay this little puppy sticks like a miracle and it looks modern, and sleek and everyone thinks it was done by a professional. No wiggling of screws or cracking! I am extremely happy. I ordered these for our newly remodeled bathrooms. They are stylish, great brushed stainless, and they stick to the wall as if they were welded there to another metal plate. My husband is as pleased with them as I am. He did all the remodeling since before he retired he was a professional builder. Now he just works for me. LOLIn response to a feedback several messages down..... These are not flimsy at all! The bar for the tissue is strong.... the adhesive is strong.... I can't understand why anyone would call them flimsy. Not unless they have toilet tissue rolls that are made of thin rolls of concrete. LOL!I bought and paid for these.... no freebies from anyone: Amazon or the seller.

Just what I was looking for. No tools needed. I was previously using a toilet paper holder stand because I had no place to mount a holder with the shower to the left and the bathtub to the right of the commode. This holder was small enough that it fit nicely to the right backside of the commode. It looks nice with the brushed nickel finish. Also a good price. The tip at the end of the bar keeps the toilet paper roll in place. Good design.
