This is a good introductory book for origami. The papers each have their own envelope so they don’t get scattered. Some of the designs are fairly easy but not all. I also use the book to keep extra paper I have since it has elastic to hold the two covers together. Very compact and easy to store.

The paper included in this pack is amazing. I didn't need the book, the paper is why I bought it! It's lovely packaging, but not very practical to open and close, the one I have has two elastic straps around it, making it cumbersome. But great book and paper.

Awesome book and what beautiful paper that comes with it. Instructions are easy to follow. Book has 10 patterns and instructions to follow. Highly recommend to those just wanting to start out learning the Art of Origami.

I gave this as a gift so I can't say how easy the instructions were. The paper looked good. BUT... when I slipped the elastic that holds the cover and book and pages together it came apart. I had to super glue the elastic back in. I hope it didn't come apart when the gift recipient opened it...

What a beautiful book! Enclosed between two pieces of paper-wrapped hardboard I found the book itself and 4 envelopes of decorated origami paper. The book begins with a brief history of origami and its traditions. This leads into a section on how to “read” the visual instructions for each project. The projects are arranged in order of difficulty from the easiest to the hardest. I can hardly wait to make every project in the book! Robinson’s clear instructions use standard symbols as well as words and pictures to describe the folds. The origami papers are stunningly beautiful. Some are florals and some geometrics, all in Japanese style. With about 70 sheets of paper, there is a more than ample supply both for practice and for finished products. I plan to make the swans, flapping birds and starboxes as table decorations for my next sushi dinner. Each guest will be able to take home a handmade origami creation at the end of the meal. I highly recommend this book .

This is a wonderful book with excellent instructions and diagrams. The instructions are easy to follow, but the most amazing thing is the absolutely beautiful paper that's included! The sheets are gorgeous, with beautiful designs on one side and a matte gold on the other. The instructions clearly lay out which side of the paper should be face up. We made five of the folds; the sailboat, fir tree, swan, starbox and flapping bird and my son has already claimed all of them! Good thing the kit came with a lot of paper!

Gorgeous! The book and packaging are absolutely lovely, and the paper is amazing. I've given away a few items as gifts, and everyone loves the paper. Instructions are easy to follow, and I only had to refer to the internet once, but that was probably me just being a bit dim. Would make a lovely gift.

this is a beautiful origami kit. I loved it that much I tried to purchase another but unfortunately out of stock. Well worth the money,i would def recommend to purchase it.

Too nice to actually use

My wife bought this to try something new, she followed the easy instructions and I now have a small origami sailing boat sat on my momitor stand.

A beautiful set of diagrams and perfect paper. Much better than other (cheaper) kits I've bought.Worth every penny!
