Cooking Mama: Cookstar Nintendo Switch - Nintendo Switch

Be patient when ordering and don’t panic if it feels like it’s taking entirely too long to ship, i ordered this on december 2nd and the estimated arrival was originally december 31st, but very quickly after ordering that estimate became december 27th. I waited for it to charge me and ship out which it finally did on december 27th, with the estimated arrival still saying it was arriving that day. I was a little sketched out, as i’ve had products claim to be shipped and claim to be arriving that never show up, but when i got home that evening it had been delivered the same day it shipped!The case and the game cartridge were in perfect condition and the game is exactly as it was when i was a child playing on the ds (which will forever be my favorite version) and the wii (which i like less than either the switch version or the ds version). Cooking mama never truly changes, at least functionally. The gameplay remains the same with the addition of new sections. I love the addition of a vegetarian section, where you can make all the same recipes from the main section of the game, but made with non-meat options (seitan in place of chicken in one recipe is the only example i can think of at this moment). I also think the multiplayer (potluck) section is super cool, although it’ll be a while before i can play it with anyone. I haven’t had the chance yet to really dive into this specific game, but it’s the same game i’ve loved for nearly 20 years and it’s remained nearly the same.

Wow! Im Impressed! I was SO nervous about buying this game even though I wanted it for awhile I never mustered up the courage to buy it with all of the rumors. First Off The Game Cartridge was in the case although it had no booklet with it.It is in English, despite Mama occasionally using Japanese phrases which if you like anime or Japanese based games. The game itself runs great true to its Franchise. No lagging Or Bugs i notice so far.As for the motion controls, they do take some time to get use to them. But in my opinion they work very well. Adorable animations to follow the cooking. It’s a lot of fun and the graphics are great and cute too! If you love Cooking Mana This is an awesome game to add to your collection! As She Says “Wow! Accomplishing the mini-games successfully brought a rewarding feeling of progress.Another positive aspect is the option for cooperative multiplayer. Cooking Mama: Cookstar allows you to cook together with friends or family, creating a fun and social experience. Collaborating in the kitchen and competing with each other added an extra layer of excitement and friendly rivalry.However, it's important to note that there were a few areas where the game could be improved. For example, the depth of the gameplay felt somewhat lacking. While the variety of recipes was impressive, some of the cooking tasks seemed simplistic and didn't offer a significant challenge. This may leave experienced gamers wanting more complexity and depth in the gameplay mechanics.Additionally, I found the replay value of Cooking Mama: Cookstar to be somewhat limited. Once I had tried all the available recipes and completed the mini-games, there wasn't much left to keep me engaged in the long term. It would have been great to have additional content or ongoing challenges to extend the enjoyment and replayability of the game.In summary, Cooking Mama: Cookstar on the Nintendo Switch offers an enjoyable cooking experience with its wide range of recipes and engaging mini-games. While it has its strengths in terms of variety and interactive gameplay, it falls short in terms of depth and long-term engagement. It was great but, I had a bitof a learning curve with it! After I started to learn it's buttons and stuff! It's really fun!
