Adult Coloring Book: Designs

This is a great gift, or just for fun. It says for adults, but my 9 year old loves it too.

This is an awesome coloring book! I was just perusing Amazon, mostly a little bored, and I stumbled across this adult coloring book. Because the designs feature smaller spaces to color than typical children's coloring books, it's probably better to use colored pencils. In fact, I highly recommend the Colore colored pencil set. They color so smoothly and come with an amazing sharpener!  Colore Colored Pencils - Premium Pre-Sharpened Color Pencil Set For Drawing Coloring Pages - FREE Eraser & Sharpener - Great Art School Supplies For Kids & Adults Coloring Books - 60 Colors I've attached a photo of one of the pages I started coloring. Because my 5-year-old son was sooooo excited to color in the book with me, I let him use the main book and I tore out a page to color myself while he was coloring. There aren't any perforated edges -- I don't think the pages are meant to be torn out -- so the edge looks a little sloppy. If you're planning to pull them out to frame or give away or whatever, just know you may want to use scissors or an exacto knife (sp).The designs in the book are beautiful. The one pictured is the one that took the least amount of time to color. I tackled that first before moving on to more complex designs. I think this book is a good value, and it will provide hours and hours of coloring, which is super relaxing!

The media could not be loaded.  The last 7 pages of my book are completely blank..not sure if the actually book is supposed to be like this or if i received bad product.

This coloring book is one of the best books I have. Things I like are -1 the pictures are printed on one side- 2 there are a variety of levels. Some are pretty basic and some are more detailed. - 3 the paper is thicker than some of the books I have it will bleed through with markers. So put a blank sheet behind the one you are coloring.I am giving it 4 stars because the pages are not perforated. It makes it harder to remove the pages. I will never understand why people that make coloring book do not have the pages perforated. This would make it so much easier to remove the pages. If they were perforated I would have given it 5 stars.

This is my second Adult coloring book, I was trying to get something a little different from the one I already have, though honestly it seems I did not wander too far.There are 48 one sided pages contained with in a glossy cover. Mostly Mandalas and some that play on them, several that are a little more whimsical. A few full pages, though not many.I do like that the patterns vary, some are tighter while others offer larger more open spaces.I felt the paper that was used could have been a bit thicker, I noticed some of my gel pens bled through, though considering it is one sided it is no major deal.I think anyone would be hard pressed not to find one or more patterns in this book that appeals to them.

I love this book especially because the designs all take interesting shapes. Many of them are circular like mandalas, but some swirl all over the page in interesting ways that definitely kickstart my creativity. Each page is single-sided, but the paper is just normal thickness so if you're using markers you should put a scrap sheet behind the one you're working on to keep it from bleeding through. My only gripe -- and the thing that keeps this from being five stars -- is that the quality of the line work varies pretty heavily between designs. Some of them have artifacts around the lines that can get a little distracting while you're coloring, though it isn't bad enough to stand out once you've finished the page. All in all I would definitely recommend this book.

I love this book for when I just want to color - no shading or blending, just relaxing. Most of the designs are great if you have vision problems, not a lot of little bitty places that you can barely see. The variety is good, nice quality paper with designs on one side only. A perfect 5-star book!

It is expensive for what it is, but it is pleasant to use, due to its thick pages, and proper dimensions.

The paper is really bad and the designs are even worse. So many other better options out there. I attempted to colour a few and the way the ink or the pencil crayon go on the paper is very strange, the outline of the designs is so thick on some of the more decent designs or other designs you almost need a microscope to see the lines and be able to colour between them.

This is a fantastic way to just leave your mind behind and colour. Excellent relaxation experience. There are no rules and you can do whatever you want. Feel the stress and worries leave your body once you get settled into doing one of these! I had heard about it, but had never tried it. So glad I finally got on this book!

Designs printed on one side, which seems to be important to reviewers who use ink markers that bleed through the page. This is an assortment of mandalas, paisleys, pinwheels, starbursts, and unbalanced (not mirror image) designs. Easy enough to color; not overly detailed. Not my favorite book, but also not the worst. Good to take on plane/train trip or to the beach or to bed on a sleepless night. Not sure I'd buy it again, given all the great Dover books I've liked much better.

This colouring book wad purchased as a gift during lockdown so further destiny of it is unknown for me. From my observation it looked good with a lot of detailed pictures. Probably it burns huge amount of time colouring it. I guess it was meant for this.
