This product is as advertise. Very sturdy construction and with easy to open and close top. The hinges are tight so the lid will stay open and not shut by itself. Perfect size for storing our extra pillows and blankets. You can definitely squeeze your king comforter in their as well. The top is not very cushy. It is firm and in my opinion this is better because it should keep its shape longer. It's only been a few days but we are very happy with this purchase.It comes 90% assemble. You just have to add the legs. As you'll see from my pictures they have a recommended area to place the legs but I put mine a little further in because if you put it too close to the edges it won't be flat. At least on mine. A couple of loose threads but no big deal.

I was a little reluctant to order this storage chest because of some of the reviews I had read. I ordered it anyway. One of the negative quotes said ‘you get what you pay for’. That’s true, but in this case you get way more than what you pay for. There’s plenty of room for my duvet, shams, and decorative pillows. My partner HATES the extra stuff. He wants JUST a lite comforter and 2 pillows and that’s it. As you can see from the pictures I really didn’t listen. Now I can have the best of both worlds for both he and I. If you’re organized and can pack for a trip, you can pack this chest without a problem. If you just throw things in the chest, you will never get it all in there. The quality is very sturdy. I’m actually sitting on it writing this review. If you’re looking for something for storage like me buy this one. All I had to do was attach the 4 feet and that’s it. I’m a fan!

Let me state, the MAIN reason that I'm only rating this a 3 is because I ordered it in gray, and it arrived as black and leather. I kept it because I didn't want to waste the time trying to exchange it. IF I had ordered it in black leather, I would probably be bumping my rating up to a 4. So now, let me review based off of the black leather version since I have the initial information out there. I reallllly like it. It sucks because originally it didn't match with any of my furniture the way I wanted it to because well, it wasn't the color or material I wanted, but my boyfriend moved in so we got rid of my couches and used his, which are brown leather. These all DEFINITELY do not match...so once again, I was stuck with something that I couldn't use because I'm a little OCD when it comes to colors. BUT then.....we came up with a great use for it and I'm kind of grateful it turned out to be black leather material because it's now outside on our front porch/covered deck. We use it as a place to put our feet up, set our drinks down, and store small items for the front yard. Plus, it's easy to clean.

I got one of these to put at the end of my bed and loved it so much that I purchased another when I was notified the price dropped.It looks good, and the build is sturdy. The cloth seems very thick and strong so it should last a long time. The one issue I had is that you must be careful when screwing in the feet as the screws can easily tear out if you use too much force. I had that happen on both units but using a slightly larger screw fixed the issue.

I agree with the previous reviewer that said the gray ottoman had a green tint to it. I have varying shades of gray in my bedroom and this is the only piece of furniture/item that has this greenish tint. Overall, the quality appears to be pretty good and we will see how long it lasts. The fabric does not appear to be cheap and of a fairly nice quality, but based on color alone, I would have gone with another piece of furniture. This item is too large to return so I will keep it for now.

Sturdy, looks great, holds a lot. The hinge mechanism seems strong. I'm using it as a bench for my dining room table and it also doubles as a toy box for the kids' toys. Works perfectly and looks very stylish. Definitely worth the money!Edit: almost a year on and this bench is absolutely trashed. The sides are made of thin particle board which cracked, then broke, within 4 months. The hinges broke and it scratches the heck out of my wood floors. Not worth the money after all.

Just unpacked it and getting ready to attach the feet.It's perfect, and the grey color is gorgeous.Can't wait to use it in our great room to store all of our many, many comfy throws and pillows that need to be outta sight when not in use.Really, I love it.I have been looking for quite some time for this size and color, and took a chance on Prime Day when ordering it, due to not being able to see it in person. Thrilled that I ordered it.You won't be disappointed with the grey color. So neutral. And the size is very roomy too.

Comes mostly assemble the set for the feet that need to be drilled on a 4 to 6 in Phillips head drill bit would make putting them on very easy. Very sturdy I can sit on it and I'm 340 lb. looks great we have a semi matching headboard

I love my storage bench. I keep my LPs in it and could not be happier.
