It does the job!
There's nothing magical about this. It just works as it's supposed to do. Product is as described and delivery was fast. Just received it, unboxed and wrap my forearm immediately. I started doing my shoulder routine as I always do, but this time the extra added comfort from this Thera Point Elbow Support Strap allowed me to exercise easier! Recommended.

Very helpful!
I developed tennis elbow while playing sports. It does reduces the pain by "forcing" the muscle to focus on the pression point and not the injured area. This allows the other muscles/tendons to heal. I'm currently doing PT to strength the elbow 's tendons/ligaments. As any brace, in general, these are not to be used permanently but in conjunction with a medical treatment. The instructions even state not to use it for more than 2-3 hrs at a time.It is easy to use and adjust to your needs. It washable and dries relatively quickly.

Worked for me
Wore it for 3 weeks about 2 years ago & healed me. Haven't needed since. Still have & will wear again if needed.

Kind of painfully concentrated pressure
I got this today and felt immediately like it was going to be leaps and bounds better that a prior one I bought and returned. This one is wider so distributes the band across my arm better and the material is comfortable. That said, the width and location of the Thera “point” requires me to put is pretty closeTo the bend in my elbow and it rubs a bit on that bend.I wore it on my left elbow along with another new one I am trying on my right elbow. I have painful golfers elbow on both. After three hours, I realized that both are still a bit uncomfortable for extended wear, but better than band #1. This one, however, has such a hard and tiny “point” that it is digging into my flesh about 2 inches below the medial epicondile (inner snow “bone”) and it is very red and sore. I am not sure if I’ve got the pressure in the right spot, but there is really no other location to put it and the physical therapist did say the band should be there finger widths from the boney pain area so…. I will see if I can stand it until the end of the evening and then switch sides tomorrow and come back in a few days with the verdict on this band #2.So far band #3 is doing well. More distributed pressure area, wide comfortable material with strong Velcro. Both are fitting my puny 7-inch forearm fine.

Really Works!
I have been wearing this on my forearm for four days and I am amazed that it works so well. The first day I wore it, once I got the adjustment right, I was completely pain free for several hours--typing, lifting, doing all the things I do with this hand/arm/wrist. A miracle! (I have had acupuncture and been to the chiro for this because the pain was bad.) The next day, I was much better than usual upon waking (I didn't sleep with it on). I wore it again for two more days but I can't say I was as totally pain free as I was the first day, but don't get me wrong, I was like 80% pain free. I think there is a bit of a trick in getting the ball on the right spot and I have been playing around with that and also how much pressure on the strap. I did not wear it yesterday because when I woke up, I was pain free again and I forgot about it. After several hours on the computer, my arm/elbow stared hurting, so I put it back on. I think I am just going to wear it when I'm working on the computer as a habit. It supports my elbow when I use my mouse and type.I do think this gizmo works and I also think it's important to have a positive attitude that your arm/elbow is not doomed for life. I always believe that I will find a way to heal and get better. I panicked a bit when the acupuncture didn't completely heal it. It improved it, but it just kept getting bad again. My chiro didn't help at all. I knew if I went to a regular doc, they would X-Ray it and see arthritis or something else (because of course I have wear and tear) and they would doom me with that. So I saw this and I know from experience that acupressure really works over time, but I did not expect these results. I am grateful because acupressure was getting $$$.

Good for golf
Wore it today while playing golf. I did have a long sleeved shirt on for sun protection and had it on the outside of the shirt. I did have to adjust it at hole 11 because the tip end of the strap did flip up slightly enough to bother me. Once I readjusted the band, it was good again for the rest of the game. Sorry, not a good picture. It definitely helped with the muscle strain on my fore arm and I do recommend it.

One of the best choices on amazon
It's kinda tricky to put on with one hand, but this thing actually helps and isn't really uncomfortable.

Best brace I've found to target bursitis
This brace has a small ball that fits between the tendons to keep them from moving across (and irritating) the inflamed bursa sac.
