The only gel I'll use
I've found this gel to be the best for my type of hair. It is not too sticky, does not leave your hair stiff and has a very mild, pleasant scent.

Great product!
I use this texturizing gel to define my curls from a perm in my long hair that would normally be straight. It holds very well even when blow drying and does not get crunchy! I love it!

Great product
I've used this for hair styling for a long time. It gives body but isn't too heavy. Lasts several months using it almost daily. Like all Aveda products, this one is a pleaser

Short list of great hair products!
I really enjoy using this list weight hair gel. I've been using it for many years and am delighted to find it on Amazon. It's fun to play with application depending on desired outcome. Wait till hair is mostly dry and run it through hair then let it set for stylish separation or work it through wet hair and style for a bit of hold. Most fun is when someone gets close and says: "your hair smells so wonderful." Or, " you smell so great"

In Top 5% of All Hair Gels
Pretty good gel all things considered. Most everything from Aveda is pretty nice both from a performance standpoint and also from a quality and smell standpoint. The hold on this gel is what I would classify as a solid medium and it's good if you want kind of at old school wet look. Brilliance is in the top 5% of all hair gels no doubt. This is not a firm hold pomade so if you're looking for something similar but with a little extra grip, Victory Pomade would be the logical choice. ever since I got the Victory product I really don't use the Brilliance as much, but it's still a really good hair product and if you get it you will not be disappointed.

simply works - can hardly tell it is there
I've been using this gel for a number of years now, use a little dab after a shower and that is it. Simple. I'm a guy that tends to scratch my head or run my hands through my hair when I think and so on, so if I don't have a gel of some type, I tend to get a mad scientist look by the end of the day.One of the challenges of not keeping my hands out of my hair is that I hate the gels that are greasy, waxy, or are stiff that it is like my hair has been coated with starch.I like this gel because it works, holds hair in place, without being greasy, or waxy or stiff. Over the years, I've tried a number of gels... nothing has come close to replacing this gel so far.
