I prefer the solidity of a stainless steel pan, and this one is very well made; decent weight, no sharp corners into which mud can become unreachable, and very easy to keep clean. The length is perfect for 12” and shorter trowels & knives. Consequently, I highly recommend this pan.

There is no doubt I’ll get many many years out of this pan unless I drop it off a ladder then fall off the ladder onto the pan. I love how well the seam are welded to a seal and the rounded bottom corners make it easier to mix in the pan and load up the knife. My only con is a pretty lame one as my last one mud pan is plastic. This new one is super loud when not full of mud. It’s like carrying around a bell. Everything it touches seems to make it resonate like a cimball.Overall...it gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from a DIYer here in Florida who does a heck of a lot of drywall. By the way.....I absolutely love my two new Level 5 trowels as well.

Item is made from stainless steel and seems to be of good construction. I haven't used it yet but I believe it will make the job easier with its shape and size. There is only one minor thing that could have been done better before dispatching it - I received the package without any external damage however there were multiple heavy scratches at either end on the inside of the Pan, which tells me it was packaged like that. I'm not sure if the scratches will shorten the life of the Pan, it being made of stainless steel. Other than that I believe it is a good product.
