Pure Guardian H910BL Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, 14 Hrs. Run Time, 210 Sq. Ft. Coverage, Small Rooms, Quiet, Filter Free

I bought this to use for an elderly cat who had recently been suffering from allergies, which was causing a condition known as reverse sneezing & also some asthma attacks. My vet had recommended getting a vaporizer or humidifier to use where he sleeps to alleviate his symptoms and lung irritation. I had a humidifier & that helped, but it is a warm steam variety (not good in the heat of summer when the a/c is blasting in other rooms) and automatically shuts-off once the max humidity is reached (so it won't run continuously).I found this little cool mist vaporizer & have been very pleased with it. It was much smaller than I had thought it would be, even after reading other reviews & seeing the pictures. But it is sufficient & puts out a nice, constant stream of cool mist until the tank empties. It has about a 6' cord, which I wish was a little longer, but I guess that's what extension cords were invented for! It works virtually silently as well, which is nice so it doesn't disturb the cat (& also would be great for a nursery as well). I use refrigerated distilled water & haven't noticed any kind of build-up at all, or any white powdery residue. I have it on a tile floor, and while the floor around it does feel cooler to the touch, there is no moisture from the unit accumulating that I have noticed.The very top can be twisted to direct the mist flow. The on/off button has a small, unobtrusive backlight - blue when it is on & red when the tank needs to be re-filled. That one button is the one that cycles through the 4 combo modes. The blue nightlight feature lights up inside the water tank itself. It can be used when it is in either the low or high mist flow setting. I guess some people think it may be too bright, but I didn't find it any brighter than any other nightlight I've ever used.I think it only holds a little less than a quart of water at a time (per the manual, precisely .21 gallons), and on the low setting found it would run for about 10-12 hours I think, so enough to run through the night. The tank itself will be hard to clean - the opening is fairly small & the manufacturer recommends a bottle brush. The tank does have some coating to help resist build-up in the interior. There is a tiny brush snapped into the base, to be used to gently clean the ultrasonic disk. The only other recommended method of cleaning that part of the base is with a small amount of vinegar/water solution to help remove any build-up from the disk (without scraping or scrubbing it, which will damage it).So far it has worked great for its intended purpose. My cat's breathing has definitely improved (asthma attacks stopped!) & this is better than using the warm steam humidifier in the summer months. I'll switch back to that in the fall/winter. Hopefully this will stand up to daily use in the meantime - will update review if there turn out to be any problems later.

This is perfect for personal needs, I placed it on a little table right next to where I was sitting and the humidity that it provided worked perfectly. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I have already recommended it to another friend. It is small and perfect. Simple and easy to use. Almost noiseless.

We use this in a tiny room housing a reptile habitat. This dehumidifier is tiny. I knew it would be small but was still surprised by just how small it actually is. I attached a photo of it next to an iPhone XR for comparison. It does a good job of keeping the tiny walk-in closet sized room adequately humid for the habitat. So far, no issues with mold or mildew using regularly changed distilled water.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great compact cool mist humidifier for someone looking for something to have on while they sleep. It's not good for continuous use or to humidify a large room. It's really compact, which is nice, and consists really of only two parts, the top reservoir and the bottom base unit. It's easy to fill and once filled, all you have to do is turn over the reservoir and put it on the base. No further "locking in" required.It has 4 modes: 2 low mist modes and 2 high mist modes (each with and without nightlight). The nightlight seemed very bright to me, so I keep it off. There is a small "on" light that stays on while the unit is on (and turns red when it's out of water). I thought I'd be bothered by this light, but was not. But if you're bothered by any light at night, this probably will annoy you.Two great features it has that I was looking for: auto-off when it's out of water and an anti-microbial feature they call Silver Clean, which should prevent mold and mildew. You'll still have to clean the unit, and to do so they've cleverly included a brush in the base.I used it last night on high and it lasted about 8 hours. I'm assuming to get the full 14 hours you would have to have it on low. I experienced no leaking and absolutely no sound. It's pretty much silent.I highly recommend this humidifier for use while sleeping. Watch video for demonstration of how it works.

This humidifier is very quiet. The footprint is compact and design is attractive. The night light feature is great. Auto shut-off seems to work well and comes in handy. Unfortunately, it has some design flaws that make it hard to clean adequately. There are nooks and crevices that are too small to get into with a brush or cleaning implement. The diffuser at the top, in particular, accumulates a lot of yuck, and is not designed to be disassembled, which is truly unfortunate because it's impossible to physically clean its interior surfaces. I managed to break mine while trying to clean it, which I imagine is going to have a negative effect on the unit's performance. I love everything else about this humidifier, I just wish it was easier to maintain.

I got this small humidifier for our small RV and it worked perfectly. It didn’t take up much space and it helped us to sleep better at night.

First it was much smaller than expected. It's easy to fill, but kind of a bother because I have to unplug the whole thing and take it to the faucet to fill it and wipe it off. If used on the high setting, it dampens everything the mist port is aimed at. The first night I used it, that side of the bed covers was damp. But the worst thing is the noise. As water in the reservoir is displaced it makes a "gurgling" sound from the air bubbles. It does it about once an hour or so and it wakes me up every time. If I was awake the sound wouldn't bother me, but I cannot sleep through it. I also don't think it runs for 14 hours? I sleep for about six and a half and I have to refill it every night. I'll probably end up bringing it to my office, but this is not a good choice if you need total silence as you sleep.

Helpful and good for small area. Easy to clean and works well.

I love the night light.!O.K> I am back to say that I purchased this in 2017 and I am still enjoying it immensely.It does the job, runs quietly, easy to refill and well what more can I say. The price is right and it isn't too largeand still working great while I enjoy great health.Thanks to this company for selling this to ME.!Now in Nov. 2020 I am still using this and still agree with e everything I said.

PROS: Affordable. Easy to use. Quiet. Effective if close enough to you.CONS: The reach isn't far enough for an entire bedroom however. The humidifier has to sit right next to you on a nightstand, otherwise it won't make a difference. The on/off button light is also too bright. There is no option to turn this particular light off. I have to put something on it to block the light at night.
