Excellent to tape measure.
I always keep coming back to this one. I've always been a fan of the scratchpad. I don't use the sharpener as much since I use mechanical pencils nowadays. I know it works fine.

Handy
Love it, the onboard pencil sharpener is genius. Dual locks are nice. Not a big fan of the spring clip, but it's still my favorite shop tape.

Great Clear Markings, Good Mechanism, But Light Duty
I have been using this tape for about two months now. I find it very easy to read, I love the back-on-white markings. The end piece is pinned in place solidly and doesn't wobble around, so accuracy is very good. The retraction mechanism works well, and I like the control on the bottom of the tape, allowing you to operate it without using a thumb to lock it. The belt clip requires pressure to open, which is a little annoying, but you get used to it. The main con here is durability, after about ten weeks mine is starting to get bent in ways that are making it harder to use. Looking down the road I expect I will destroy this in a couple more weeks, maybe two months at the outside. This is much less durable than the Stanley product I was using previously. For the cost this isn't a terrible run, but I have a preference for tools that hold up, even if they are more costly, so I would probably not buy it again for a general carpentry application. That said, this tape would be wonderful in a cabinet shop.

Great tape
I really like this. It is a medium duty tape measure. The white tape makes it easy to read. And, the pencil sharpener is actually really handy.

Great product.
Great tape measure. Too bad they didn't offer more versions from this brand.

Quality is dropping with each purchase!
Fine, crisp marks standout well on the white blade. Built in pencil sharpener is great to have on hand all the time. These are not the most durable of tapes, even just using them in a shop environment, but still worth it(never trust a carpenter with a tape they've "had for six years." All tapes are disposable from my point of view. I buy these six at a time for a year's supply(edit: these have been given away with a warning or relegated to framing duty. Accuracy is in doubt so I've quit using them for millwork.) I would have rated these 5 stars in the past. The latest batch however has some quality issues. All have burrs/malformed tips that threw off inside measurements. Also, Fastcap has quit printing 32nds on the first foot due to customer feedback saying it was confusing. I used the 32nd marks frequently and am disappointed they were eliminated.Update: After using tapes from this new batch I've found all of them are inaccurate when measuring inside/outside dimensions. Something isn't right with the hook and/or rivets that allow compensation for the hook's thickness. Fastcap has dropped the ball somewhere. I have a number of Fastcap tool and have been pleased until now. No more. Great ideas for tools poorly and cheaply executed are just cheap tools in the end. I'll avoid them in the future.

Great while it lasted
I purchased this tape measure based on the many great reviews on the internet. I loved the quick finger lock, note pad and pencil sharpener. I didn't like the belt clip which is too small so the tape measure kept popping off my belt. Also, the triple rivet end clip quickly became loose and measurments were off when you measured between studs and transfered the length to cut a block. I liked the black rubber/plastic casing until I left it on the furnace while working in the basement and it melted. The metal tape is fine, but the case is so mangled that the tape won't come out making it useless. I have an old Stanely 35 ft that's metal which is pretty indistructable but really bulky. I would recommend this tape measure to the DYIer who doesn't need precise measurements or for a kitchen tool drawer. I plan on getting another and keeping it away from heat.
