Pain relief is a cinch
This belt is excellent. I periodically get "crooked" around L5 and my SI joint and, as a result, my hips and sacrum are not aligned as they should be. The moment I put on this belt and straightened myself out I felt better. The worst of the extremely bad pain disappeared.I am very happy with this product and recommend it highly. It is easy to put on and adjust and comfortable to wear. It is wide enough to hit the right spot and it doesn't slip around.Needless to say, this is not a permanent solution to lower back and sacroiliac pain and dysfunction. I know I have to be diligent about my exercises. But in an acute attack when I cannot keep my body in the same plane, this belt is the first thing I reach for in my arsenal of foam rollers, ice, heating pads, and pain relievers!

Helps with pain reduction
I have a hypermobile SI joint that is generally most painful when seated and I've used this belt most frequently while driving. The belt has helped relieve some of the discomfort and allowed me to drive longer distances. It is easy to use. I had my physical therapist help me with placement. The belt can bunch up a little in the back from the second straps but I usually remedy this by resetting the belt to be a little tighter. I haven't had any issues with the belt moving up or down. I find that it is comfortable seated, standing, and walking but not very comfortable when lying down. Overall I recommend this product if you have a hypermobile SI joint. I'm a curvy women's size 8 and the medium fits me well.

Helpful PT product
This particular SI belt was recommended by my PT. It is soft and flexible and my chiropractor likes its design for possible comfort and support as a maternity belt. The added Velcro wings give it more support. I find it a little uncomfortable to sit in for long periods as it rides up my waist a bit, but I wear while up and about and while I sleep. My skin is sensitive so I always wear over clothing. I've had this for about 6 weeks and it does show some wear but seems to be holding up well so far. The Velcro is still in pretty good condition too. It's definitely helping with my pelvic tilt, with progression of core muscle building and postural change.

Not really an SI belt.
This is not well designed as an Sacroiliac (SI) belt. Seems more like a lumbar support. The belt is 4 inches wide. An SI belt is more like 2.5 or 3 inches because it should ride low on your hips, where your body bends, to pull across the SI joints. This belt crumples when you bend, pushing on your bladder and creasing on your skin. The body of the small/medium is 41 inches long, but you need to grip each end to pull it tight, so take 2-3 inches off either end for seating it. The Velcro tab is sewn (crooked) to a short piece of elastic belt which is sewn to the body of the belt. Not ergonomic for pulling tight. Some belts use a loop to pull back against, but this approach of simple belt that just overlaps can work, e.g. Serola. The lining is short-nap fleece, as opposed to gripping surfaces (like silicone or urethane) that SI belts use to avoid sliding up towards your waist. This is particularly important if you wear the belt over clothing to keep it off your skin and allow for more than one use between washings. I've worn an SI belt every waking moment for 20 years. This thing made me ache, just to look at it.

Good aid for my aching right sacroiliac joint
I have had an exacerbation of sacroiliac joint pain. On a whim, I decided to look for a solution for the pain. Seeing different treatment options from a few different vendors, I wanted to try a few brands. Rather than trying one and then waiting for an order to come in, I ordered a MARS Wellness SI Joint Lumbar Lower Back belt, a GNR Health Systems BackWonder SI Joint Belt, an OPTP SI-LOC Support Belt, and a Serola Sacroiliac Help Belt.I will rank them as follows:OPTP SI-LOC Support beltThis is a non-elastic belt, unlike the others. It has a strap on each side that is fed through a plastic D loop/Ring. Although it’s supportive, it provides no compression or added tension. It does maintain its shape, and stays in place due to LATEX pads on the inside of the belt. For support, it is good. For acute pain, it is not helpful. The price is in the middle of the pack.It has a No Return policy, which is a big caveat.Grade: C, 2 StarsMARS Wellness SI Belt,This is an elastic belt. It has a main Velcro closure and two accessory Velcro closure devices for additional tension. It is supportive and provides compression. It stays in place, though it tends to fold onto itself at times. For tension, it is moderate to high. For support it is good. For acute pain, it helps a lot. However, one must make adjustments to straighten it out over the course of the day or night. If you’re not as active, it should suffice. The price is in the lower end of the pack.Grade: B Minus, 3 StarsSerola SI hip BeltThis is an elastic belt. It has a main Velcro closure strap but it provides no tension, and there are two accessory straps for adjusting tension. The two tension straps are the workhorse of this system and there are small tabs that allow for a secure grip to make the adjustment.Even at the highest tension, I’d say the tension is firm to moderate. The inner lining is elastic and gives stability without deformity.Given that it is the “Gold Standard”, it is durable feeling and well made. It’s price is nearly twice that Of the competition.Grade: B +, 4 StarsGNR Health Systems BackWonderThis is also an elastic belt. It uses a Velcro strap that is fed through a plastic D loop/ring providing the greatest amount of the load of tension. There are two Velcro secured straps for adjusting for more tension. It is supportive and provides compression. It stays in place and maintains its shape. For tension it is moderate to high. This provides the highest degree of tension and helps with acute pain. For the price, it is the least expensive option. It will work in the active and mobile setting without a loss of position or change in shape. For the price, it is the top contender, and it is priced and well over half of the price of the Serola.Grade: A, 5 Stars

Perfect for me
I work at a stand up desk, and this has "saved my back" . Sitting is terrible for my upper back and neck post a car crash - it literally hurts even to even just sit down for 5 minutes. I equipped a home office with a stand up desk but of course my lower back wasn't happy with that for too long at a time. This belt has literally enabled me to stand for hours at a time with tremendous comfort in my lower back while I work. What I love about it is that it's not huge and bulky, I was looking for a thin one (and honestly, if anything, a little thinner would make me even happier). Don't feel like big and bulky is better - it's not - what you need is the tight support that molds to your body and your shape - and this does that perfectly.

This has really helped support my sacroiliac joints and kept them from moving as I moved around my house and I even managed a train journey.

90% Improvement in the first few hours.
Within minutes of putting the belt on I felt the benefit of it. Loaded and unloaded the dishwasher without pain, went for the weekly shop, didn't have to lean over the trolley handle bar or stop for a break but the real milestone was being able to change the bedding on the king size bed without help - the first time in around two years! Have a little stiffness and slight discomfort on my right side but nothing like the discomfort I usually have
