Baker Street Mystery Game Board Game

My favorite games are Clue/Cluedo and 221B Baker Street. Game night usually consisted of Clue, always, but lately, it's always 221B Baker Street. Especially since I managed to collect all 9 case sets! We usually play 2 case sets in 1 1/2 - 2 hour time period w/3 adults. We all have a lot of fun trying to solve the riddles and the case. If we all get stuck, we discuss our findings and come up with a plausible solution and then read the answer. Some are very hard! I suggest you make copies of the case/clue books so everyone has their own copy, it makes playing so much easier! I look forward to game night every week so I can solve yet another case as Sherlock Holmes! This game is NOT easy and I suggest that older teens to adults play it. There is a lot of thinking in this game and some of the clues point to history which younger kids may not know. I have gotten frustrated with the clues as an adult player. If you like to use your brain and solve mysteries, buy this before they stop selling them forever! This game has been a top rated game since it's release in the 1970s! Don't miss out on all the fun! Also, you can buy extra case sets (9 sets in total) on the internet, brand new. Have fun and... the game is afoot!

I grew up playing this game with my family in England. Some of my fondest memories are sitting around the table battling my brothers and parents in a game of whits and deduction.A lot of the other reviews compare the game to Clue, there really is no compasison this is a far superior game.I was a little dissapointed in the quality of the game pieces and the detailing in the playing board, the same game in England seems to be of a much higher qaulity and detail.That being said however, for $15 I would buy this game again and again. It is hours of fun and is a fanastic way to help young children and adults develop a keen sense of deductive reasoning.I remember playing this game when I was 7 years old and loving it. I would recomend it to any parent who wants to help their child grow up to be a smart and reasonable adult.

I am very big into board games and was on a hunt for a creative mystery game for my wife for her birthday. After a bunch of research i found this game and fell in love. the almost limitless number of scenario's that you can play with the 20 possible expansions and the 20 original scenario's you can play for years and still have a new game each time. Obviously once you manage to make it all the way through the game it is redundant so replay value is low, but if you manage to make it through all of the scenario's and all of the expansions then you need a new hobbie.

This is a nifty game, definitely more for older kids and adults. My 10 yr old got a bit bored. But I like going around and picking up clues in the various buildings, being the first to figure out the mystery. It's like an old choose your own adventure book. :)

Freat Stuff. Lots of fun to play. You can use the cases from the Board Game or the Game Set. You don't have to go in numerical order.

This was my favorite board game growing up and I was excited to get it for my 9 year old daughter to play with her. She loves it too! It's really fun to figure out the mystery and it's actually fun for the adults as well as the children. It really holds up.

My 8 year old and I love this game. We play cooperatively which makes for a very pleasant, quick game, filled with natural learning for both of us! It is often silly, for example it will give a "sounds like" clue, rather than real mystery solving, but we rate it very highly and play a lot.

I had never heard of this game but I always liked Clue. My Wife told me about this and we found it here. Really it is just like a grown up version of Clue. More in depth and just a good interesting game.
