Workout
I was a little skeptical about this when I first saw the advertisement. It dropped in price, actually lower than I even expected. I thought why not!! If it’s made for the landfill at least I didn’t spend my life savings on it. Right?!? It came in a “shoe box” in sections, no big deal. It was easy to assemble. The knots where you connect the links are very tough to undo. Which is great because at least it won’t pop off mid workout. But also a little touch to undo to get out of it 🙃. You can adjust your links so as your waistline gets smaller you can also make the circumference smaller. The weighted ball glides smoothly, however it is a bit noisy. But that is really not a big deal to me. It gives me something to focus on as the timer ticks down 🤣. The workout says 15 minutes with a 5 minute break in between. Easy, right? Holy Moly Guacamole!!!! It’s a legit workout. I can barely make it through the first 15 minutes. I’ve yet done the full 30 minutes w/5 minute break. I feel like I just spent a hour getting my booty kicked!! I’m working my way to get the full workout. Overall, its not a bad investment to keep in your workout room!!

Fun way to workout
This is a fun way to work out. Put on a show, music, podcast or a good audiobook (or read if your that skilled!) then get to work. I often forget that I am doing a work out. My kiddo is trying to learn to hula hoop and this is a fun way for us to both get a work out in while I teach her. It can be a challenge to do this if kiddos are around, mainly the smalls like my toddlers. They don't pay attention that a weighted ball is swinging around and can do some damage if they get in the way. They often throw off my groove by running through. It can be kinda noisy when you get started and when your in your groove but again have a good show or something on and it just becomes background noise. Super easy to put together. Taking links off is easy to do as well once you get the hang of it. At first I struggled to get them off. Thought I was going to be stuck in it forever. haha. Its easy to get it going. The best way I found was to have one foot more forward and shift your weight front to back vs trying to spin. Once you get it going you can try and shift your weight a different way to get a different work out or keep it front to back. Its a fun way to do a workout without it feeling like a workout. It seems pretty sturdy and well made. The weighted ball goes around pretty smoothly but will get sticky at some points. It seems to get stuck more when I am super bloated and the hoop is being pushed out a bit. Again it can be kinda noisy when it goes around the hoop but nothing crazy, I can usually drown it out.

I bought it out of curiosity
I mainly bought this more so out of curiosity than anything. I've been trying to find little ways to be more active without a full blown work out.-Could not be more easy to assemble. The ball is going to come on a little piece on wheels. Be smarter than I, and be sure to put this inside the rings before you fully snap it together.-The pieces can be tricky to get apart. I have what I refer to as "weak baby hands" and don't have the easiest time disengaging the pieces. I did find if you squeeze and twist a little it makes it a little easier. I am worried about how that's going to hold up over time, as I can see one of the little nubs breaking off.-This isn't uncomfortable, but isn't comfortable either. For probably about the first 5 minutes of using it it was almost soothing the way the inner pieces rolled around me (almost like a gentle massage). Past that it didn't feel great. It didn't HURT, but my skin was irritated. I'd wear something plush underneath while using.-This doesn't seem to do much for cardio. I'm a great baseline because I do not work out AT ALL. I have a sit on my butt desk job. I used this for about 10 minutes, and it did help expend some extra energy, but didn't do much else.-It is very easy to use. I own a weighted hula hoop, and while I like to think of myself as an expert hula hooper, I can't do it counter clockwise with the weight. I figured this may be a good alternative (since I'm not trying to "keep it up") and it does outshine the hoop in ease of use.Overall, this is probably just going to sit and collect dust. My weighted hoop is a little more cumbersome, but actually leaves me with that "I worked out" feeling.Hope this helps someone in some way.

2nd time purchasing and disappointed with this one
This is the second hoop I’ve purchased. Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVED my first one. I told everyone about it and where to get it. Now to the replacement I purchased which I do NOT love like my old one.One of the wheels on the spin assembly broke off- not a big deal since I’ve had it for several years and use it regularly it was bound to wear out at some point. There are two negatives with the one I just bought as a replacement. First, the wheel assembly on the replacement one purchased does not seem as sturdy as the previous one- the previous one has three wheels per side as well as the wheels themselves were bigger and seemed sturdier made. Second is the previous one had a closing feature that had lock down things where as the new one is just clinking the links together which wouldn’t be a huge issue if I could actually disconnect them once connected. I’m thankful I decided to test the ease of disconnecting before I put it on me or there would probably be a sorry attached because I could not undo the links at all!!! I’ll be using the wheel and ball assembly on my old one since it fits but could have saved myself some money and just bought the ball. DISAPPOINTED and will not be purchasing a 3rd hoop.
