Having been a Poirot fan for a long, long time, I resigned myself that it was "Curtains" for the genius Belgian detective. I didn't really have high expectations for the new Poirot novels, but I finally gave in and purchased them. Oh, happy day, these are intricately and fairly plotted and stand well in the Poirot canon! In fact, I have gained a respect for the talents of author Sophie Hannah and will be checking out other mystery titles by her. Hope her four are a start of another branch of Poirot mysteries that will keep my appetite whetted!

I love all the Poirot mysteries. I have all the original Agatha books. Happy to have these new stories. I will definitely savor them.
