Shipping is hit or miss but otherwise good.
The packaging means these are as likely to arrive damaged as not. If the shipping does not beat it up these are perfect for holding a 1U sized mouse/keyboard or laptop.

Droopy ass, can't put anything directly under it
The media could not be loaded. It should have been made as a four-post mount because as it is, the back end drops down 1cm with the drawer closed. This means you can't mount anything directly under it unless you don't mind scraping the drawer across that thing for most of its travel. In this video there is a small 1.616 kg (57 oz / 3.56 pounds) 13" laptop in the drawer. The drawer is secured with four M6 Torx screws, cranked down with a T-handle until the nylon washers were oozing out the sides. And even if you prop up the back side to keep it from dropping, the bottom of the drawer droops enough to scrape with just 3 pounds of laptop.

Be Sure to Read Inside Dimensions
Seems like a very good product but I had to return mine because my computer wouldn't fit. It appears that the measurements listed are a bit off. My Dell Inspiron 17 was a 16th of an inch too wide. I thought about grinding a bit but didn't want to void the warranty.Amazon has the best price on the internet for this item, even less than the manufacturer.

Quality made
I use this to store my routers and other smaller devices in a secure tray in my data center. Made very well. I do wish they made a tray that was deeper, to be the same length as standard rack mount servers.

So close to a great product. Replace the rivets with screws!
This review is for the 1u drawer with wrist-rest. Too much play in rivets that attach ears to main body; The right side sits about 1/8" higher than the left side on this particular unit. Depending on how much room you have in your rack, this could be the difference on using or not using valuable space. Penn Elcom generally makes excellent rack-mount drawers, which made this unit a disappointment; I have a few 3u and 4u drawers that don't use rivets but machine screws where this unit uses rivets. That small change really makes a difference in how rigid the drawer is as a whole. Other than the rivets and play in the drawer, it seems like a solid product. The slides aren't cheaply made, solidly attached, and the metal is solid enough to bare some weight. I was surprised that the honeycomb pattern is cut in both the top and bottom of the drawer frame (if you hold the drawer up in front of your face, you can see right through it.) Even with this pattern cut out, the drawer seems like it could hold a reasonable amount of weight without flexing too much. If this turns out not to be the case, it can be reinforced with a metal sheet or some metal straps secured to the bottom using the holes in the honeycomb.

which is pretty normal. It needs about 17" clearance left to ...
A laptop fits in there for storage but not with USB, HDMI, power cables etc plugged in.I was hoping to open the drawer, flip open the laptop and be ready to go, but, nope.My laptop is 15" wide, which is pretty normal. It needs about 17" clearance left to right with cables plugged in and this tray doesn't have it.

sturdy well built but wiggles back and forth when you open and close it so it stays put however far out you want it
the drawer is well ventilated and sturdy it just kind of wombles back and forth when you pull it out or push it in. It will stay at different degrees openness which is nice and maybe the wobble when sliding it is just the way it is this is the first rack mount drawer i bough. Good unit looks nice stays put where you want it and won't slide around. rather have it wobble and stay put than freely slide if tipped
