This gives off an even light and after a minute you forget you even have it on.The motion sensor is useless. I just don't see the need for it. But the regular on/off works as it should.Its more comfortable than any other head lamp I've had. Using this working under a car is so much easier than using a magnet light.

This is an amazing little light, and it does everything advertised. I can't believe how bright it is. It lit up our entire basement as well as much of our front yard. It fits perfectly on the head and is very comfortable to wear. The lighting options all seem to work perfectly, and recharging is easy. I gave the battery 3 stars because I haven't had the chance to check out the battery life. This will be invaluable during power failures, walking, jogging and any other night time activity. It frees up the hands for auto repairs, household repairs and any other situation that requires extra lighting. I plan on using it for my early morning fishing trips. Time will tell if it holds up to real world conditions, but right now it rates an A+!Update: 4/14/22 This definitely rates 5 stars. So far I have used it for night fishing......it lights up the area in front and around me and makes it easy to remove hooks in the dark. For a longer reach I use a small LED flashlight that zooms out and lights up the entire stream. It's like fishing in daylight! I have also used it when painting in shaded areas when it's difficult to see, and for doing closeup detailing. We recently had a night time power failure which lasted for quite a while so I quickly grabbed the headlamp so we could see our way around the house. I also purchased one for my grandson who is a church camp counselor this summer. He loved it, and so did the other counselors. In fact, they all ordered one. It will be invaluable for them when they go on late evening hikes and for traveling between dorms at night. As for charging, I have found that it takes about 2 hours to charge up to full capacity. After using it for a month, I would certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a handy dandy light!

fits well and is comfortable and has a very bright light. A bit tricky turning on and off and one of the two has a short so goes on and off by itself

I originally purchased this item because I needed hands-free better lighting to be able to give my cat insulin injections twice a day. I needed to be able to see the skin as the needle went in and to make sure the needle remained inside the skin. Little did I realize that this gadget would help me in so many ways. I use it when I need to have a clear view when cleaning my dogs/cats ears. I use it when I go into an area like a closet or drawer where I need good lighting and can search for things without having to hold a flashlight. What a great feeling to search for something and be able to see clearly and the light follows you wherever you go. I use this item when I have to cut my cuticles and paint my nails which requires good lighting. I use it to look closely at my husbands shirts to determine if they have stains and need a shot of Oxyclean. This item is so well worth the price and it does not require constant charging. I am sure I will find more uses for it so I will make sure I have one of these at all times.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for work and he stated that it aided him greatly whilst doing his technical repairs. Fits comfortably around the forehead.

First off I guess you get what you pay for it is beyond accurate with this product. I used this headlightfor about a week and during that time I wasn't impressed at all. The battery dies within 30 min or so..you can literally watch it go dimmer and dimmer right when you turn it on but I figured OK just gonna have to charge it often and have a backup light...untill the other night when thank God I was there with it while it was charging cause the battery EXPLODED and caught on FIRE!! If I wasn't there or home at the time I would have lost my house. I AM WARNING ALL... DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!

This is bright lightweight and fits comfortably. I got this because I was looking at the exact same thing rated at 1200lumens instead of 350L. One reviewer said that one was exactly the same brightness as this one and they wanted double the price, so he returned that one. That convinced me to get this one. The hand wave sensor switch is really nice for two reasons. First, it is somewhat difficult to find the buttons when they are out of view on the side of your head. Second, when working my hands get dirty. So, I really like that sensor and yes it will trigger if you are working in a confined area such as under a sink. The solution is simple, don't activate the sensor when working in confined areas. I use this mostly for going under my house and in my attic or riding my electric unicycle up to my mailbox at night. The battery is small and lightweight making this comfortable for the things I use it for. There are types that last longer than 2 hours but they have a big heavy battery box on the back of your head. I'll get the heavier version for bicycling at night where I may need more than two hours. However, this smaller lighter configuration is optimum for my home maintenance needs.
