Good replacement pads
I badly needed pad for my bicycle and these were worked perfectly. Installed with no problems and worked as they should. Not sure why there were 3 pairs, but I'll have to remember that I have an extra set stached away.

This was my first time replacing brake pads
This was my first time replacing the brake pads on my and my daughter's bikes. I found a video on YouTube explaining how to change the pads. These pads were quite inexpensive so I had low expectations, but I am very pleased with them. My daughter's bike brakes wonderfully now and she no longer has the obnoxious squeal from her brakes. I would order these again.

Okay, depending on what you use them for.
I got these for a cyclocross bike I was fixing up last winter to use as a secondary bike and to try off-road riding with this fall and winter. During the spring and summer I rode on the road (typically 2 rides a week on this bike, 15-20 miles per ride) and this fall I've been doing gravel riding (1 or 2 rides a week for about an hour each) and just did a 'cross race last weekend, all rides using these pads. Over the summer they did wear down some, but held up okay overall. Braking performance was okay initially, though it decreased noticeably as they wore. They however did not last long at all after I started riding off road and needed to use the brakes more. The back set wore out first and I replaced with the spare set included in the package, but that new set only lasted a couple of weeks. Before the 'cross race Saturday they still had a decent amount of material left on them, but both the front and rear set wore down to literally nothing in little over a lap... stopping ability became essentially nonexistent, as you would imagine. I'm sure they were never meant for this type of use and conditions, but I am still surprised how quickly they wore out. Even without the cross race thrown in, they wouldn't have been usable for much longer.Overall, if your intended purpose is light road riding, commuting, rail trails, or other similar types of riding I do think these will work just fine, but they'll probably still wear out faster than name brands and the braking isn't as good as higher quality pads. If your intention is more competitive riding, mountain biking, or anything where you need to rely on the brakes heavily, I can't recommend them. I don't fault them for not holding up in how I used them, but at most can only give them 3 stars as a cheap set of brakes with "just okay" performance at their best.

Quality pads - very quiet compared to my last set
Reasonably priced and so-far they are the quietest pads I've had on my hybrid bike. They were easy to install and you get a spare set in the pack. (3 sets total) An allen wrench is also included.
