53.5mm Puck Screen, 100μm Reusable Coffee Puck Filter, Coffee Portafilter Screen, Stainless Steel Coffee Filter Screen for Espresso, Lower Shower Screen

The media could not be loaded. Perfectly fit my 53mm Gaggia Viva portafilter. I bought 53,5mm puck screen cause my basket measured 53,4. The screen goes perfect almost to the bottom of the basket when I checked it without coffee inside. Very hard material. As you can see I have no channeling or minimum with that screen. I used 17,5gr of coffee in the video so I have plenty of room for the group head to dispense the water through the screen.Very pleased with the results.

Pretty sure the channelling is worse with this gadget than without but it may also be my technique hence the 3*

I feel tricked.

I like to dose 20g into my portafilter and for 54mm that’s on the limit. With this puck screen I get 17g in there so with that for me is enough reason not to use this. Then there’s the second reason, the edges on the screen are very rough and poorly finished, I struggled to sit it on my puck level and had to readjust it many times. Knowing how much to dose is key because to much and you won’t get the portafilter in the brew head.Maybe some will find a benefit from these but I’m not one of them.

Kanske har jag ännu inte riktigt förstått poängen. Skillnaden vid bryggning är minimal. Brygghuvudet hålla rent, vilket är bra. Filtret passar inte perfekt i hållaren, det är något för litet.
