I love it
Can something as simple as a nice, ready to go wet palette make your painting experience better? Yes. Absolutely. It's such a small thing. Essentially a plastic box with a sponge and a sheet of porous paper. Nothing to it. You've doubtless seen a million tutorials on how to make your own with paper towel and some old Tupperware. Will that work? Absolutely. Is it user friendly, convenient, does it make your life easier? Probably not. This does all of those things. Soak the sponge, lay down a sheet of palette paper and you're off to the races. A lot of folks will say the paper is just parchment. It's not, not exactly. The quality of parchment varies wildly and it can be a huge pain to cut and place without edges rolling up and smoothing out bubbles. You simply lay this paper on the sponge and wait. It will curl and then flatten out. Barely smooth out any bubbles and you're good. It's sized perfectly, lays flat, doesn't let too much water through but also doesn't dry out. The actual 'box' of the palette seals but is not exactly air tight. THIS IS A GOOD THING. It doesn't completely lock the moisture in causing your paints to separate in an hour or so and be rendered useless. It is also quite shallow and doesn't hold a lot of standing water. Again, I think this is a good thing as it cuts down on using TOO MUCH and also eliminates the issues with stagnant nasty water in your palette. When it's time to clean up, toss the palette paper, wring out the sponge if you need to, wipe clean and you're good to go.Look, if you're reading this you likely know what you're looking for. While $30 may seem a little steep for what amounts to a little plastic box, keep it mind that it was intelligently designed, purpose built for what it is you're doing, and it just WORKS. It's made my painting experience easier, less stressful, and more fun. For me? That's well worth it.

Keep the pad damp, not soaking wet
I've never used a wet palette before, much less any type. I've always put a small amount of paint into a cup or dipped the brush into a bottle when possible. Those palette allows me to add/use/mix colors, brush them on and then cap the palette with the lid. The paint stays wet, although may get a bit watered down. This sure beats wasting pain when I don't need a lot or the entire amount, the mixes stay wet for touch ups and reuse. This item included 2 "wet" pads and 50 paper sheets, I've used the pad for multiple models and the paper is tossed at the end of the project. This is a great investment and really saves the paint.

A+, Saves on wasting paint/money/resource.
Art can be an expensive heart song. This wet pallet kept my pallette workable for the 2 weeks that I needed to paint the piece. It has a wide mixing space, the paint moisture can still be diluted if needed without making a mess. The versatility of reuse with a quick rinse or storing the used paint for a fortnight is unrivaled. This has changed my art life.

Wow! Best Value and Quality
This wet pallete is great! I purchased this as a beginner minifig painter and I am blown away that I never knew about this sooner. This is a great and essential tool for painters of any level and it comes with a lot of papers to keep going for a long time. I was impressed that this was not more expensive to be honest. It is well worth the price and has made a huge difference in my ability to paint, blend, thin out and store colors. Plus it keeps my table clean and gives me peace of mind that I dont have stray paper towel fibers getting on my models.

It's good. but...
The foam pads could be thicker, and i'd prefer they lose the embroidered logo on the foam pads. It creates an air pocket under the paper that dries it out.BUT BUT!!It's a good wet pallet. I personally used an army painter wet pallet for years. But this one "Feels" less cheap, and is made with sturdier materials and a better build quality.I appreciate the rubber around the rim of the lid, because it holds the moisture in. Where the army painter one didn't have that. Which can be a good and a bad thing. Good if you're not like me and use a regular amount of paint. Bad if you're like me, and you glob more than you need onto the paper, and it ends up sitting there for a few days, I could see that excess paint going bad/moldy and the foam building up mildew if it isn't properly cleaned.

This works really well for a portable gouache set up. Get one!
This is a tiny version of a wet palette. Similar (but not exact) to a Masterson Sta-Wet palette, it keeps water based paints moist and ready to use. Very handy. Very portable.Five stars.

Great wet palette
This is a great wet palette. It keeps paint and water for a long time, like 7 days+. I'm happy with it.
