Joe Fox has "been there & done that" - retired Special Forces company commander, instructor for Army SERE training school, Scoutmaster, hunter, dad. You can be absolutely surw that he knows what he's talking about!What I like best about his book is that its comprehensive without being overwhelming, it covers every major issue and need, and he presents it in a no-nonsense, down-to-earth manner.While it certainly doesnt pretend to be EVERYTHING necessary to recover civilization from a nuclear holocaust, it is a solid grounding in all the basics. You know if you take care of everything Joe mentions here, you should be well-set for any emergency or contingency.Thanks, Pastor Joe!

Lots of detail. Lots of information. Would recommend to anyone starting out in prepping or even a seasoned prepper.

If you’re a fan of PJF you’ll like this book. It’s written in his style of speech, with his sense of humor. I bought this mostly to support him since he’s actually out there doing the things. Pick up a copy, you won’t be disappointed.

There's not a lot of new information in this book for preppers, and quite frankly I feel the editing could have been better due to so many typos and misspellings (as a retired teacher I notice these things), but Mr. Fox's humor and quick wit is evident and entertaining, which is why I read the book all the way through. Additionally, his good nature and Christian backing adds to the overall content making this a book that, ironically, I will read again. There are few non-fiction books I read for entertainment purposes, but this book evidently shows Mr. Fox's true character which is refreshing, enjoyable, and down-right entertaining. I'd put it right up there with "Duck Dynasty" shows. Also, I was quite surprised to see that Mr. Fox has a very impressive bio which explains why he is so knowledgeable about prepping, survival techniques, and staying on top of the country's current events. He is a man who knows his subject matter very well, and due to that honest approach I feel confident that everything he has revealed in this book are tried and true techniques that will work for anyone. My husband and I truly enjoy watching his online prepping videos and the book pretty much follows the same flavor. Yes, I am sharing this book (sorry for cutting back on your royalties a bit, Joe) and my friends seem every bit as entertained as we were. Good job, Pastor Joe! I would have given this book five stars were it not for the typos and misspellings.

This is a great guide to preparedness and survivalism with lots of practical ideas. Follow the concepts in this book and you will be better prepared than 98% of other people for all sorts of disasters, be they natural, political, economic, or War.

This book is a great all around preparation for most everything. Good read, straight to the point with no fluff!

Well written, easy to read, good solid information. Some info just confirmed what I already knew, but there was a lot of stuff that I hadn't thought of. A first rate reference book.

Great book for the beginner with good hits and tips for those who think they have everything in order regarding this subject.I came to this book via Pastor Joe's video's on YouTube, I would recommend these also. The book as the video's tell it like it is, nothing fancy just straight to the point advice and ' opinions.Read this book more than once it's worth it. Thanks Pastor Joe and one day I hope to see you out there.

Pastor Joe gives a good overview . I recommended you watch his videos for more in dept knowledge. Helpful lists included at the end of the book.

Das Buch von Pastor J. Fox ist sehr gut. Herr Fox ist ein No-Nonsense Typ der viele sinvolle Hinweise gibt um für Notsituationen vorzusorgen. Ich kann das Buch guten Gewissens empfehlen den es gibt eine Menge sinvoller Denkanstösse. Es sollte noch gesagt werden das es in englisch geschrieben ist.
