CompexUnisex Corebelt 3.0 Electrostimulator

Convenient, But Not Quite The Ticket
I already had a Compex SP 8.0 before I bought the belt. I love my 8.0, but wanted something that I could grab and go and was less fiddly to work with. The Corebelt ticks all the boxes re convenience - the electrodes stay on the belt and there’s no fiddling around trying to view my back in the mirror while I try to position things. It’s just a case of buckling up and switching on.The app interface is very straightforward - much easier to work with than the 8.0, but range of intensity offered isn’t as wide.Where the Corebelt really misses the mark for me is its degree of functionality. The electrodes disconnect from the app far too easily, especially if you’re moving, which then completely negates the idea of using the belt to enhance voluntary exercise movements. The electrodes also seem to lose ‘stickiness’ far earlier than the SP electrodes, or indeed, any other electrodes that I’ve used for muscle stimulation, which is a major annoyance, as it’s a recurring cost. A great business model for Compex, but a rip-off for the consumer. In all, I use the Corebelt if I’m feeling a bit stiff, but don’t rely on it for much else.
