This mini digital rice cooker is a recent upgrade from our previous one-button-one-function rice cooker, which we ended up giving to my mother-in-law. We upgraded to this one because of all the functions, including cooking brown rice, sushi rice and congee (a surprise). Husband and kiddo love eating Jasmine white rice but I'm having to make the switch to brown for health purposes. Yeah, you pay a few more bucks for this one, but the quality is excellent. Very easy to use cleans up like a breeze. Great choice easy selection of various activities. Wish I would’ve had this many years ago, but I didn’t have the dollars makes excellent rice and keeps it warm if you’re looking for a good rice cooker, hands-down I’ve been through a lot this one works the best

I bought this for the RV, but now I've purchased a second one for the house. I have never had better brown rice anywhere! It came out fluffy and nutty and yum. Then I tried some cornbread in the "bake" mode. Perfect cornbread. The first one I purchased was the red. Great color, but a little difficult to read the silver markings on it. So if that would be an issue for you, get one of the lighter colored ones. I have a white one on the way. It's just great and I've worked with MANY over the years....Zojirushi included. I have the smaller size just ordered that will work great in a small RV, only uses 350 watts. Can't speak for the larger ones, but I assume they're just as good. Very pleased. And, as usual, Amazon got it here (out in the boondocks) fast and in perfect shape.

The media could not be loaded. Appears aesthetically pleasing to the eyes! Matches my decor. The lid is air tight & steams well. This cooker has a condensation collection cup.For 1 1/2 cup rice-took less than 20 minutes to cook. Much smaller than my family size (regular) rice cooker. This is a space saver and can only hold up to 3 full cups of rice. Rice was fluffy. I cooked yellow rice first -use the white rice setting.Con-This rice cooker has NO COOK TIMER…. You have to keep checking & guessing. The timer in my photos is ONLY FOR HOW LONG YOUR RICE HAS BEEN ON WARM.I’d definitely recommend it for a 1-3 person family or a bachelor/ette!!!

I absolutely love this cute little rice (and more) maker! It makes rice perfectly, and I’ve also made steamed veggies in it that came out perfect. Can’t wait to continue exploring making different recipes in it. It’s also very easy to use, easy to clean, and compact for easy storage.

Amazon sent me to the manufacturer, the manufacturer admitted the unit looks defective and then said they could do ZERO for me since I bought it on Amazon. So. If you're gonna buy this unit, I advise you ENSURE you test it within Amazon's window since, if it's defective, they'll only make it right if you bought direct. How disappointing.Original:I was very excited about this rice cooker. I got it then had to go on a business trip. When I got back I pulled it out and power went out. So finally set it up to do the clean cycle a month after buying -- following all instructions in the manual -- and the start button simply does nothing. So disappointing this is broken upon unboxing. If the manufacturer fixes it, I'll update the review. For now... I'm stuck with blinking lights that do nothing.

I was looking for a more reasonably sized rice cooker (I used to have a secondhand one that was huge) and this is what I wanted. I live alone and it works great for me. The steam function was also a must. I love the moisure collector in the back. And most importantly... it's so cute!

I was initially skeptical about buying a rice cooker. I always boiled rice on the stove in a pot. It’s one of the easiest things to cook. But since buying a rice cooker, I’ve found that a rice cooker makes life easier. After you rinse your rice and turn the machine on, you don’t have to think about it again. You can spend your time focusing on making the rest of your meal. You won’t need to waste a stove top burner on your rice. The rice will cook to perfection and an alarm will go off when it is ready. If you’re busy cooking and the alarm goes off, no worries, the machine automatically kicks in to a low setting to keep the rice warm. It will keep the rice good for over 2hrs! Clean up is easy since the pan is non-stick. This is another reason this device is better than cooking rice in a pot on the stove top. With this machine I went from making rice once a month to cooking rice every day. And what is great is that rice is a very cheap staple.
