So I have a pair of Turtle Beach Elite’s. For the absolute life of me I couldn’t find a replacement cord and I knew my cord was broken. Everywhere I looked, cord’s didn’t look the same. Mine had a regular aux for my controller and a 5 pole for the headset itself. These have been broken for like 2 years at this point. One day I got tired of replacing them and found this. This cord worked and it saved me from throwing out $170 headphones. Sounds perfectly fine. Volume and mute button work. Longer than the original one. Honestly I’m just glad this kind of cord isn’t some random thing only turtle beach made and they no longer sell anymore.

Great for the money and does its job

I used this product for my controller, found out very quickly it worked well for about 20 minutes. That was until I tried out the mute slider which permanently muted the cord. Despite me sliding it back and forth just to make sure.No I didn't have the mic muted, on either the console, or the physical cord I was unable to speak only listen to audio. I tried this on my computer and still had the same problem once again. Even went to audacity to check that this was malfunctioning.Set the playback and recording device to the headset only to find out that neither was picking anything up so I even lost the ability to listen to audio. Just to make sure I wasn't going crazy I tested out these earbuds I had which has no problem with audacity and my controller. What a shame.

The cable is working to this day, it arrived on time, I have no problem, you can buy it with this buyer. Because I have bought several cables and they get damaged after a week, I hope not this one. buy with confidence :)

I had someone accidentally break my headset cable, found this with fast shipping and known compatibility. I am back up and running.The cable functions as anticipated on first use. Mic works fine, controls work fine. Fits as well as the original. Price is fair.Shortcomings are in build quality. The mute button rattles incessantly when not slid to the mute position. I may see if I can fix this by shimming the button. No clip like the factory one so the cable tends to get pulled leading to some noise through the ear cups and the inline controls are not always pinned to a known location.I would give this a 3.5. Not as nice as the factory cable but it is working in a pinch, and for that I am thankful.

not a fan of the quality but does work. even when mic is muted my computer still shows mic icon showing.

I’ve had a hard time finding a replacement for my headset. The sound quality is really good compared to other ones I’ve tried, my friends still get an echo sometimes but it’s not as bad as other brands. It’s a good price for how decent it performs.
