Worth the Purchase
Just received the item, so I cant comment on the durability. I wanted this review to focus on the fit. I am 5'8" tall, weigh 207 and have a little bit of a belly. I also plan to wear this over a t-shirt. This will replace my riding jacket for the summer. I will also be wearing a vest over this ridering shirt. I normally wear a Large to X-large, mostly an X-large. I didnt want this riding jersey to be super tight, so I ordered a 3X and the fit was perfect and comfortable. Not to tight and not to loose, also the pads stay in there proper position. Again, I plan to wear it over a t-shirt. Glad I ordered two sizes up.

Good replacement if no jacket
It does what’s intended to do. I don’t typically wear a jacket when I ride as it gets real hot in the summers in the south. However, I wanted something to wear for some added protection under my long sleeve shirts. Based on some reviews about size, I bought a size bigger than usual, from a 2xl to 3xl. Now I’m a big g guy at 6 ft and about 270 lbs. The 3xl fits pretty well. The armor is in the right places even with the 1 size increase. The one thing I don’t like it the arm/shoulder size. It too tight in the armpits. The only spot that it’s overly hot is where the back armor is. Something to live with. I see this as a good buy. Going to try compression shirts under this to see how that works. Regular T-shirts are uncomfortable.

So much more comfortable than I imagined
It fits snug, didn't think I was going to be able to close the zipper, but the material is stretchy. I wear mine under a t-shirt, and it's somehow actually cooler than not wearing it. Like any slight breeze seems to chill it because it wicks moisture. So it basically helps sweat evaporate leaving the cooling sensation. SCIENCE! Seriously going to get a few more for summer, this is a definite godsend.

Wear it under your colors!
This is much better than wearing a plain shirt when it gets hot on a bike. You can wear it under your vest, hoodie, or just by itself. I wear a tank top with it as I don't want the 80s look. Feels great as it blocks the sun and allows air to pass through. Will it protect you during a crash? Better than a t-shirt, better safe than sorry.
