Gives the widowed gander something to bite and tug on besides human legs. Leaves us alone much better now that he has this toy to take out his grief and boredom on. Not an annoying sound either, rather a gentle tinkling. It's the only poultry toy that hasn't been destroyed. Very happy with the investment.

I bought the small size for a friends bird, it has a soft pleasant sound, a functional quicklink, and is good stainless steel.However, there's a slightly sharp metal edge on the inside opening of the bell that I had to file, sand down, then rinse off the metal dust/sandpaper grit before giving it. I'm fine with fixing up an 8 or 9 dollar bird toy, since it is extremely safe once fixed, and should last forever.The small size looks good for a conure or cockatiel.

Disappointed: pipe bell does not have a good clear ring, takes a bit of moving to get any sound, and some rough edges around the bottom edge. TBD if will keep or return. Appears some have no sound, some little sound, so appears to be random whether you get a good 'ringer' or not.

For anyone that has and loves Cockatoo(s) this bell may be just the ticket! We all know how they can get down with the vocals when getting the flocks out at dawn and calling the flocks in at dusk...well this bell is sturdy beyond compare, durable as the dickens, worth every penny! ...and although smaller than most, it has the sweetest sound for humans. ;) HIGHLY recommend!

What an awesome product in my opinion it's very good quality.

I bought the small size for my Quaker parrot. It is perfect for her. I love the sound. It makes a light chiming noise. However, be careful to get the correct size for your bird. The opening for the small size is perfect for my Quaker, but something smaller, like a budgie could get into trouble. Something bigger might be able to get a toe or beak stuck. Great design, because it keeps the ringer out of reach (my bird loves to rip those off). But be careful with size for safety.

Sound or NO sound shall I say

It’s stainless steels, it’s safe for your birds, they won’t get heavy metal poisoning. Be careful with any metal toys, my Quaker parrot had heavy metal poisoning because of the metal chain on the wooden toys. You need to make sure metals are made of good stainless steel to avoid poisoning.
