Comfortable, immobilizes thumb, supports wrist and has helped me!
I have de Quervain's tenosynovitis in my left hand/thumb and am recovering from surgery for the same thing on my right, caused by repetitive motion/overuse. I am hoping to avoid surgery on my left by immobilizing it as much as possible, so the tendons calm down. I was given a big/bulky brace that goes half way up my forearm by my primary care doctor that was kind of overkill, since mostly my thumb and wrist only need to be immobilized. It really isn't that comfortable to wear, so I find myself not wearing it as often as I should. My physical therapist gave me a neoprene type pull-on brace for my right that is similar to this brace but it doesn't have the thumb immobilization part and isn't as easily adjusted. I would say this brace is a cross between the two and perfect for what I need. I actually feel like this brace is more comfortable than the one I got from the physical therapist, since it is fully adjustable. I wasn't sure about it working both on the left hand and the right but it does! I have shared photos of it on both hands. It has a long strap and velcro all around, so you can angle it any way to make it more comfortable for your hand. The thumb also has a long velcro strap that adjusts as tight or loose as needed. Since I have been dealing with these hand issues for a long time, I have found that braces are only good if you wear them and you only wear them if they are comfortable. This is the first one that I feel is comfortable enough to wear 24-7, like I am supposed to on my left, including when I am driving and sleeping, which are times that I wouldn't wear my other big brace. I have been wearing this one for about a month and have felt some improvement in my pain in my left hand already, I'm sure it is because I have actually worn this one much more than my other big brace. I have at least pushed off the surgery hopefully for a few months or maybe forever, if things keep improving. I am glad I ordered this brace and I highly recommend checking with your doctor and seeing if it would help for anyone suffering from thumb pain related to arthritis/tendonitis/de Quervain's tenosynovitis or other injuries.

Stabilized and comfortable
I have purchased several of these. Easy to wear, easy to type with it on and supportive of thumb from overuse spacebar. Only reason I don't give it a five is the material frays but due to price it's not a big deal.

Great thump splint
I got this because I hurt my thumb and I needed something to help me hold it in place because I was hurting it more without the splint. The splint was very comfortable, easy to wash, and very breathable!

Well made brace
This is a well made brace with good securing velcro. It is easy to put on and take off and I like that you can use it on either hand as needed. I have had problems with a lot of the cheaper-made velcro after the last few years as they seem to either clog up with lint or from repeated usage and lose their grip. This is the standard old time velcro that won't wear out that way. There was no paperwork included in the heavy plastic zippered bag regarding cleaning, or on the product page, so one should probably assume it is a hand wash and hang dry appliance like most of these items. It is nice to have the bag for storage to keep dust off it when you don't need it, I would suggest hanging onto it for that reason rather than just tossing it out, but that's up to you.I also like how it covers the lower hand and wrist where some products have a narrower band that don't lend as much wrist/palm support. For my own use, the thumb joint at the base of my thumbs is what gives me the most problem versus the other joint and that additional lower palm-wrist support helps combat the inflammation by immobilizing the joint. Overall I don't think anyone should be disappointed in this product and the price is right for what you get

Keeps thumb stable
Works well keeping thumb stable, but metal bar becomes uncomfortable pressing into the side of my hand. May be because my hands are small.

Very comfortable with proper adjustment
Full disclosure, I had not had any issue with my thumb during my evaluation, but I've HAD an injury that resulted in a fair amount of inflammation at my thumb and wrist. What I looked for was comfort and stabilization of the thumb. After a couple of tries I found this brace to be very effective in doing both. Just adjust it enough without being too tight and it provides great support to the thumb and fair support for the wrist. I was able to wear this all day without any discomfort at all.My first trial wasn't so great because it was too tight, but to be honest, it does not have to be secured to tightly to provide ample support. All the adjusting was easily done with the other hand.To some, there might be a point of discomfort. The slot where the wrist wrap goes through to tighten the wrap is rigid. Overtighening or if it happens to lie over the bone (head of ulna) it will cause some discomfort. Both repositioning and loosening helped me.My thumb was in a very comfortable position and cradled well from excess movement. Best of all this can be used for either left or right hand. The brace would have come in handy after my injury some years back.

Good thumb support
This EDNYZAKRN Thumb Splint does stabilize the thumb ably. It can be worn on either hand, and the velcro strap allows for any size hand. The rest of the brace is bigger than I need and doesn't hold my hand well. I had hoped that it would help with both my wrist and thumb, but it really only does the job for my thumb.I have braces that support my wrist or my thumb, however I'm still searching for one that will do both well. If your needs are primarily thumb and your hand isn't too petite, this brace will likely serve you well.

Neat, good support
The support is good but not wonderful. It does what we need it for but would not be the gull time splint at the early stages of recovery
