High quality finish
I used there for some kitchen lighting. Very simple to wire and have a high quality finish.

Very good quality and look great, slightly fiddly fitting
These are very good value for money, and look great, but be aware that the ceramic inner is quite brittle, and the connections for the cables are fiddly to get tight.

All metal, looks good, works for table lamp too
This is displayed as a pendant mounting, I took a risk in hoping it would work for a table lamp, it does!Looking at the sales photos, the second shows it in exploded form...The ceramic holder screws onto a M10 Fine (10mm diameter x 1mm pitch) threaded pipe, this in turn screws into the decorative chrome surround. If you want it as a pendant you attach supplied plastic cord grip and you're done.M10 x 1 pipe is the modern standard for light fittings so you ignore the cord grip and screw the pieces onto your table lamp.EXCEPT, be warned, it is likely that you have 5mm of pipe sticking out of your table lamp and the 2 parts of this holder require 10-15, so you are likely to need a longer pipe. You can buy that on Amazon or ebay, it's quite inexpensive. Also, it can be fiddly to assemble, and screwing the ceramic piece in at the end will twist your cable so make sure you have scope to untwist it, or pre-twist it in reverse before you start. The finished assembly looks great. The chrome finish, metal mount, is very handsome!PS The outer thread is M42, which is the standard diameter for an ES UNO style lampshade.

Very nice quality and a great price.
I thought these would have rigid plastic internals but when they arrived, they have tough ceramic lamp holders and are very well made! I reckon these are excellent value for money!

Good value two pack
They certainly look the part but they are very fiddly to wire , especially if you are going for the vintage look and using braided cable

Nice looking lamp holder
This is a nice looking lamp holder, metal exterior with a ceramic insert. However, as this is metal clad I would expect it to be earthed however there is no earth terminal. The live and neutral are screw connectors. In the package are a few fork crimp connectors, I was able to use one of these to clamp the earth connection under the bracket holding the ceramic insert to the outer, metal exterior. There is no mention of these connectors in the instructions or how to earth the fitting. So not a simple installation!

Sadly not fit for purpose - had to return
Bought a pack of 4 of these and the item looks great and is fairly straight-forward to put together if a little fiddly. However once the bulb holder was all wired up and fixed to the shade, and on the ceiling; it became obvious that it was nigh on impossible to actually get an E27 bulb to screw in.It was difficult to get started and then it cross-threaded and got stuck at an odd angle. I then had to take the entire thing down and try to get the bulb out, which took ages and I had to pull apart the entire fitting.I then tested it on another of the lamps whilst taken off the ceiling, and I could just about get a bulb in, but it didn't seem like it went far enough in to connect well. Couldn't test if it actually worked as I hadn't (fortunately) wired up the other ends of the cable. So, it looks like the problem is the thin metal threaded insert inside the bulb holder that just isn't high quality enough to easily accept the standard E27 bulbs. This is a shame as it lets down the whole thing and makes it unusable.
