I like that the mat folds & stores easily. After installing 4 AA batteries the direction are voice prompted & easy to follow after powering on. The light up steps are fun for all to move. The dance music comes programed or your own can bluetooth through the toy. Super fun exercise dance movement activity toy for indoors or outdoors.

I ordered this dance mat for my son. He is 4 years old and a bundle of energy. He is always dancing on his own when he hears music, so I knew he would love playing with this. He has already used it for several hours since I took it out of the box and installed the batteries. It seems very durable, but I will update this review later if I have any issues after he has been using it for a few months. One really nice feature is that it supports Bluetooth, so you can connect your phone to it and play any song that you have on your phone through the dance mat's speakers. The mat has 5 different game modes, which has really kept my son entertained. He slept much better the first day he played with this, since he expended so much energy. One thing I thought was strange was that the mat supports 3 languages; English, German, and Russian. For the US market, I think Spanish should be included since there are so many Spanish speakers here (But hardly any German or Russian speakers).

I think its probably best for a younger crowd. In my testing all the buttons--err, pads, seemed responsive. It has a volume control so it can be quieted some. It takes 4@aa batteries that are sadly NOT included. They probably should be included. The manual is a little difficult to understand. But its not very hard to fumble your way to getting it up and running. I think this is probably good for ages 6-10 i dont think the older kids will be into it. It states 3-12. Maybe that will work. All in all, i think it will be fun in bursts. Probably good for a little mid day exercise or coming down from some sweets. I could not get it to connect in bluetooth mode with a samsung note 10.

I was amazed by how quickly my 3-year-old grandson mastered the features and options.this is a well-designed dance mat that seems to be holding up very well. We call this an "inside" toy with our rule of "socks only". It is not slippery and doesn't slide around on the hardwood floors.I don't like having to add batteries and wish it had a rechargeable USB battery, although, the batteries still didn't wear out yet even after many hours of play.This mat is easy for kids to roll up and put away.This cost just a little more than others but the quality makes it well worth it.Very pleased.

I hosted Christmas Eve and Christmas gatherings at my home this year and since I have 3 year old twin niece and nephew, I needed something to keep them entertained. This dance mat kept the whole family entertained! We loved seeing the kids “dance” their little hearts out. They were fully engaged with the songs and lights. The only thing that gave me pause was when I first took it out the box, it had a strong plastic smell to it, but I did wipe it down with a soft damp cloth before I let them play with it.

The volume is easy to control. I especially like that this is easy to clean and up can be folded up with ease. It’s a great gift idea for a child who enjoys dancing and having fun. The price is great for the quality of the mat. I definitely recommend this item. Thank you.

My 4 year old dance your heart out grandson loves this dance mat! After his dad put the 4 batteries in (not provided) and showed him how to do the ‘modes’ and volume, the little guy went to town dancing until he could barely stand up. Great exercise, lots of laughing, worth every penny!
