These held up well from years of abuse, they didn't really wear out, they just got so stained I was embarrassed! I even got a second package to put away in case they don't have them available the next time I need potholders. I really like the pattern and they work perfectly on the BBQ too

I needed a set of smaller pot holders near the microwave and counter top oven. The color and design are similar to the bigger ones by the stove. They are not too stiff or thin. I like what they say about lemons. I haven't had them long enough to know about durability or how they are after being washed. They are replacing some old mismatched stained ones. I am glad I found them.

I really wanted to like these gloves, and I did when I ordered them. I didn't after I received them. They are almost as stiff as if they were made from thick cardboard. It is impossible to grip a plate or the edge of a pan using them. You can, with effort, wrap your hand around a pot handle in the oven, but before you get the pot out of a 350F oven your hand will be scalding.As a minor point, you might think the pattern shown in the illustration will show up on the back of both gloves in a pair. It doesn't. All of the gloves are made identically, so the pattern is on the back of one glove and on the palm of the other glove.I ended up throwing the pair I bought away, and went to the corner grocery to buy some useful, flexible gloves there, which also protect fairly well against heat when taking things out of the oven.

I like these so much that I am planning on another order for them.
