Instant support and relief
I got the product yesterday and I found how to put the elbow strap on by the instructions on the box after a small amount of time. This strap is perfect for me as I have skinny arms compared to many, though I'm only 18. I don't have severe pain in my elbow, but small reoccurring pain from repetitive strain, from working my arms hard, doing press Ups, using the computer, phone and games and sport. As i put it on tightly! Which is good as most wouldn't fit well most likely, my elbow, just felt comfortable and that small pain just disappeared, i don't know it's a psychological thing, but today i put it in the morning, (don't use when sleeping) for safety reasons it says) And i went to play tennis, this straps design is awesome in that it can be for both arms, you will know why once you try it. I have it on nice and firmly, you will know if it's too tight. And i played tennis with a bigger racquet as well to reduce stress! And i could hit better serves with more power and good forehand shots, the support is lovely so far, i won 2 sets nearly in straight games, normally it's quite even between us, so you can use during sport or general activities. You put the strap on so the Neo geo is facing the top, not the ground, you put the elbow support part just above the elbow bone.So overall i feel really happy, the quality build is nice and feels comfortable. Good luck for future customers who want to help recover their elbows or protect and prevent!

It actually works :o)
Bought this after damaging elbow after some serious decorating. Originally waited for around 3 months to see if problem would go away by itself, but it only got worse. Ordered this, and after 5 weeks my elbow is 90% better (I'm still wearing it). This product really works, though I would advise anyone who wants to buy it... do not wear it and expect to carry on your sports/activity as normal... it's not a 'Superman' elbow support. Common sense is needed to cure the problem, which means TAKE IT EASY ON YOUR ELBOW! It takes a considerable amount of time to cure tendinitis, even up to 6 months... if you keep persisting in overworking the tendon then it will only get worse and you may end up needing surgery... DON'T GO THERE! I stopped doing any serious activity with this arm (right), I even stopped driving for 2 full months (girlfriend drove) as the pain was getting intense when changing gears (I drive left hand drive car). But after wearing this product and taking it easy my elbow is almost right again. All this product does is take the pressure off the tendon by exerting pressure on the muscle just below the tendon join... but it does a great job... And... you have to wear it quite tight. First time I tried it my arm nearly turned blue (my girlfriend noticed before me)... but it does have to be tight... just on the right side of 'bearable' tightness. I would definitely recommend using this product... Good luck!

One of the most comfortable
I have had tennis elbow now for about 6 months, and found that these straps are the most effective way of controlling the pain and continuing to be active. In my case that means regular swimming.I have bought eight different straps of various designs, makes and prices.I find them all reasonably effective, the differences tend to lie with their comfort and durabilityThis is the most comfortable of any of the straps that I have had. It is comfortable and a good size, I have very thick arms and many struggle to fit around. This strap is easy to apply, comfortable in use and as effective as any. My only small criticism is that the hook and loop fastening is very fine, and has a tendency to slip in use, but generally I consider it as the best that I have used

Does the job... If you get it in the right place.
I recently bought this after developing tennis elbow (wood chopper's elbow in my case). It looks good and is well made. The gel pad is firm enough to exert the necessary support and pressure over the tendon, although the man made fibres make it a bit 'sweaty' when it is worn next to the skin for long periods of time. As it is quite bulky I tended to wear it over clothing, which alleviated the problem but is best done with only light clothing as anything too bulky would probably interfere with the pad actually doing its job.The strap certainly does help to relieve the pain (though in my case not completely. I used it in conjunction with physiotherapy, acupuncture and painkillers) and increases the strength in the arm and I would recommend it on that basis. I wore mine for about 6 - 8 weeks and found that the Velcro was just starting to become less effective so not sure how much longer it would be fully effective. The most is appointing thing was the quality of the instructions for positioning it. They were useless. I had to search the Internet to try to find better instructions and ask advice from my physio and acupuncturist to get the positioning correct. It doesn't really sit where you would expect a support to sit, ie over the affected joint, it sits below the joint and that takes a bit of getting used to.Overall, it did a good job for me and I would recommend it.

Support Where You Need It
Have recently been diagnosed with 'Tennis Elbow' which I can assure you is quite painful and a real nuisance, especially in my job as a school Site Manager. I purchased this Elbow support to take pressure off the elbow tendon. I was very pleasently surprised how good it was. The quality is first class too. What I found particularly good in the design is that it doesn't cut your arm up on the edges of the support. The velcro band doesn't come right to the edge of the band and therefore there are no rough or sharp edges. I found it very comfortable to wear. The only difficulty is deciding how tight it should be? I had to have it quite tight in order to feel the benefit. Just be mindful of circulation! Overall, a good product that works. Good value for money and usual Amazon fast delivery. Well worth a try before painful injections!!
