This is a high quality set that will last you a lifetime. Very glad to be able to replace pieces from my original set I got 40 years ago that were lost in a few moves. Slight difference is the handles have a matte finish. At first I didn’t like it that the match wasn’t exact, but now I like the difference - makes it a little interesting.

I purchased this same Oneida silverware but not brushed finish almost 15 years ago and it still looks lovely. We needed additional silverware for our new home and I wanted Oneida again because it has a lovely weight in your hands and it looks great year after year. Amazon had even a better price than Oneida! I’m extremely pleased with this purchase and encourage you to consider purchasing Oneida if you’re looking for daily use silverware.

As others have mentioned, the new versions are significantly lighter weight than the silverwear from 20 years ago. Sad that companies cut corners these days. We are still using them, so we are happy enough

We’ve had this design for years and bought this to fill out some pieces that have gone missing over time. Newest product is cheaper and the design is just off.

I have an earlier edition of these where the handles are shiny. I was a bit disappointed that they made the change where the handles are not. The quality is just as good. It will just take a little getting used to the different look. All in all a great purchase.
