Man I love this live bacteria. My small pond would get so brackish and filled with leaves and you could not see the bottom. So I gave this ball a try. I have a tetra pond with filter that is suppose to be colonized by bacteria over time but it has not I guess due to the state of the water. So crossed my fingers when I introduced this to the water and let me tell you I started seeing clearer water in just 4 days. Now it took two months of treatment and it's a good idea to add a new ball of bacteria every month to maintain a healthy bacteria population. I can now see the bottom of my pond and it is amazing. I can enjoy my under water plants which have sprung back to life in the clean water. I highly recommend this product for your pond. You can even set up auto ship with it which is awesome. So if you have lost control of your ponds this product will get it back in tip top shape in just a few weeks.

No change for our pond
Our pond isn't so big, a decent size one though, it stays in the sun so it was pretty green, so I bought this and thought I'd give it a try, threw it in the pond with the filter running, and 4 days later, it was still green, it was a waste of my money, because it never worked, wish I took before and after pictures but I didn't have the time to do so

OMG It Works! I l Love it!
I can't believe it! My 1,000 gallon, 24" deep pond was a horrible virulent green and I'd been trying to get it clear for weeks. I bought one CrystalClear PondShock Organic Ball with Live Bacteria in desperation. It was a very hot day when it arrived (June 29) so it was quite warm. Hoping it wasn't dead from the heat, I tossed it into my pond. On day 5, I could make out the red bricks I have on top of my box filters as weights. On day 7 (today), I can count the leaves and tree galls on the bottom! Wow! That's all I did. Just toss it in! It's a miracle. There's still a thin, healthy film of algae on the walls of the pond which I and the goldfish like, but the water is now so literally crystal clear we get in the pond with the fish. I love it.

Product is So So
Didn’t do what it says it does. My fish pond was clear before not crystal clear. Still not crystal clear as advertised.
