I haveamy of the more / most expensive name brand trimmers and needed something while I was away from home. For $10 this is an excellent trimmer. 40 length options is more than most of the high end models give you. The blade is sharp and cuts clean enough. For the price it's difficult to complain, idk how long it will last but again you can buy five of these to a single one blade and ten of them instead of a higher end trimmer. If you can afford the best, there is a noticable difference. If you cannot,o there isn't much noticable difference in practical use cases. I could still cut 2 mm of stubble and a pyramid moustache with no problems. Would a one blade been easier/smoother/more ergonomic? Yes, yes, and yes. Can you get the same result with this model? Yes.I'll update the review if it blows up or dies prematurely, but it seems like a fine trimmer at an unbearable price.

Bought this as a cheap replacement for my old trimmer and I was really impressed with the quality and performance of this trimmer. It cuts nice and smoothly. Nice straight lines. The battery seems to be long lasting. Definitely great value for your money.

I am really angry at myself because after I viewed the photos of the trimmer, I realized that it would NEVER work as advertised, but I said "Gee this one is only $10. Maybe I'll give it a try". I should have taken a $10 bill out of my wallet and set it on fire with a match. That would have given me much more satisfaction than trying to trim my beard with this worthless piece of trash.I have used beard trimmers for about 30 years. You need to have a "dinner fork" design in order for it to PICK UP your beard and cut it to the correct length. If the trimmer does NOT have that fork design, it WILL NOT trim properly.THEN....I foolishly turned the dial down to try to make it trim properly. BAD IDEA - It trimmed my beard down to just slightly longer than shaving with a single-edge BIC razor. If that is what I wanted, I could have just used a 20 cent BIC razor.To add insult to injury - I have been very, very busy lately so I missed the return window that Amazon offers to their customers when they mistakenly place a total piece of trash product to be sold on their website. Otherwise, I am a very happy and loyal Amazon Prime shopper. It is not Amazon's fault that I was too busy and could not request a refund on this POS.

It oscillates much slower than my previous trimmer, but still cuts just fine. Good quality. The guard is annoying (as other reviewers stated) when trying to trim right below my nose, because it extends so far in both directions. I'm thinking about breaking off half of the guard.

It came in a box! From the other side of Earth! Literally! The instructions were in very clear English, tho. Appreciate that attention to detail when exploiting global inequalities. Gotta charge for two hours before first use. I anticipate feeling generally positive about satisfying my need for personal grooming economically with this consumer electronic device.One wonders about the lack of lubricating oil for the blades. Not included, nor indicated in a cursory review of the instructions. Prior life experience, including with buzzy consumer electronics, has lead me to believe that lubrication is beyond advisable for durable satisfaction.

This works well and was a good price. I love the built in adjustable guide!

It does a good job of trimming my (short) beard to length. It does not cut as close to the skin as a razor but for the money it does what it is supposed to do.
