Philadelphia Candies Dark Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts, 1 Pound Gift Box

These chocolates were a fabulous gift and everyone raved about how delicious they were!

I sent one as a gift out of state, and the others are for Christmas gifts at church.

It is an unusual flavoring combined with dark chocolate and walnuts. It's satisfying.

I have bought this same box of chocolates for a friend 3 years in a row and have been happy. The shipping and packaging is amazing! It comes with a ice pack to keep the chocolates from melting.

I wanted to get my mother some chocolates for Valentine's Day. I was surprised at how expensive the brand name boxes of chocolates were. I then saw Philadelphia chocolates and saw that the weight was a great deal for the price, so I purchased a box. The pieces of chocolate were large and full of nuts. The chocolate is creamy and not overly sweet and I thought it was great bargain for the price. After reading that the company has been around for more than 100 years, I was totally impressed. I have placed another order since Valentine's Day and I now consider myself a patron of the company.

My husband loves the dark chocolate creams, and usually we have some in the house. Of course, I tried them and thought that they were delicious. My favorite candy is dark chocolate covered nuts. When I discovered that Philadelphia Candies makes them, I had to buy a box. The first box was wonderful so there is another one on its way to my home right now. The dark chocolate is wonderful. There are plenty of nuts in each piece of candy. (By the way, you can buy boxes with one kind of nut. I am debating on which one to try. Hazelnuts? Brazil nuts? Walnuts? Decisions, decisions.)

Overall we really like this - it's just as described. The chocolate is a nice, dark, semi-sweet. Tastewise I would put the chocolate somewhere between Godiva and Guittard. There was a wide, evenly split variation of different nuts. And it seemed pretty fresh - no white edges on the chocolate or melted pieces.It would be five stars except for one problem - we are about halfway through out box and have run into one piece that had a few large, hard chunks of shell inside. Ouch.It would also be nice if there was a legend or key to indicate which shape pieces contain which nuts - since some have 1 nut but others have clusters, we can't easily tell what we are biting into, and not everybody likes every type of nut in the box.Last bit, not a pro or a con, just an FYI - in addition to chocolate covered nuts we also had 6 chocolate covered nuts with caramel (one with the shells), and one gold foil wrapped chocolate with no nuts. Both were delicious, just unexpected based on the product description, but maybe it was in the fine print somewhere.Overall will likely buy again, just chew with caution.

I bought this, sight unseen, as a Christmas gift for my husband, who is chocolate nut aficionado. He raved about them - told me they were some of the very best he'd ever tasted- and he doesn't compliment easily. I got them again as a surprise Valentine treat for him. Again, rave reviews. Tried them myself ( I am not a 'sweets' lover). The chocolate is milky and just sweet enough. The nuts are whole, tasty, and crunchy. OMG. I may be a convert.

Great to have the ability to order this in the UK. Great tasting chocolate and a firm family favourite which we had to import from the US so glad we now have simple access. The kids love them and a wide range of nuts to choose from.

The chocolate covered nuts were delicious but I felt they were much too expensive as compared to such as Hotel Chocolat or Thorntons

These chocolate covered nuts are delicious- they are whole nuts and fresh tasting and fresh texture when biting into. There is no diagram for what is what, kind a fun picking and seeing what you get. I had eaten close to half a box and unfortunately found a shell in one of them. Contacted the seller and although not obligated to refund or accept return due to being a food item, they graciously credited me for this box ( I purchased two of the 1 kilo boxes).

These candies are very good, fresh nice eye appeal and good value for the money. Would recommend them especially if you like milk chocolate, which is very smooth and rich in flavour, the nuts are very fresh and one chocolate just isn't enough. Would certainly purchase again.
