Bella Futura: A Coloring Book of Beauties & Beasts of the Future

This book has beautiful hand drawn art, there are portraits and animals and some gems. Jennifer is an amazing artist and I love all her work. You can find her on you tube where she has tutorials on colouring gems, skin etc which are really easy to follow. Her last book The Secrets of coloring has the most amazing techniques in it using different mediums and it will help you with colouring many of the pages in this book and many other books you might have in your collection. The paper is create space paper but don't let that put you off, she gives you written permission to copy the pages onto whatever media suits you as long as it is for personal use so you can use anything you like. I find pencils the best to use on this type of paper. The images are clear and not too detailed so great for all ages and colouring skill levels but not too basic so they are boring to colour. You also get a second copy of all the pages in the book but put onto a black background for those that prefer it. What an amazing bonus to get for no extra cost. Jennifer has always offered the second set of pages in all her books at no extra cost although this is the first one she has adapted to black backgrounds for that second set. Don't pass this book by, it is worth every penny and I feel a must have for all colourists.. You won't be disappointed.

I like the illustrations in this adult coloring book. I love that the illustrator has her illustrations one-sided and both black and white backgrounds; she has put in duplications of every coloring page. I only dislike the type of paper that it is printed on! It's just regular copying paper. Other than that I love the illustrations!

How can you not enjoy this book?!? Jennifer has done it again and created one irresistible coloring book. Each page is an adventure with beauty and fauna! A little bit futuristic but not over the top. It is more of a line art book but there are also pages with black backgrounds for those who like to make their colored paged 'pop'! I love this book,as much as the others of hers I have purchased!!! Give it a try!I have submitted a WIP (work in progress), of a page from this book I am currently working on!

I love the illustrations - but not the paper - too light weight for any medium other than pencil crayons or pastels.

This art is really lovely. I like that there is white and black background versions of each image. The only thing I didn’t like about this book is the paper quality. I use colored pencils so I’m not sure how it would hold up to other mediums.

This book has a lot of beautiful exotic faces of woman with various outfits from around the globe that you can get into coloring and blending and shading . This is a real challenge to make them more beautiful with color. Some of the women have animals in them some animals alone fox, deer,eagle,etc. Some pictures have white back grounds and others are black. This is a fantasy book of beautiful woman.

The lovely art in this book will keep you busy for weeks. Jennifer’s futuristic ladies look like fun to color! Thank The ONLY reason it is 4 stars is because of the paper, but the pages can easily be printed on to better paper. You really can’t go wrong here.

all pages is so beautiful and you get duplicates. i haven't colored in the book yet just got it. Jennifer does such beautiful work.

The most gorgeous book out. The illustrations are to die for. I even copy the pics onto 300gsm to use copic markers on them.
