Classic square / aviator, slightly oversized sunnies.
I like to have multiple pairs of sunnies on the go in the summer, both for the car and for sumer holidays. Usually I go for a wayfarer style, but thought this time I would try this style. I’d say they are a mildly squared off version of an aviator style. The hinges seem strong and they sit nicely on my nose with space between the lense and the eye. It’s tough sometimes to get a pair of sunnies that sit well on the nose without banging into mascara-ed eyelashes. These don’t get in the way - a definite bonus. They’re black frames and lenses and are remarkably dark. Trying them on on a winter afternoon made it almost too dark in the house to see. I’ll be keen to see how they tackle a bright Greek mid July. For a good pair of sunnies (not comparing to designer of course), £16.99 is a fair price.

Move over Elvis !
I've always had a preference for the older style of Sunglasses over the modern curved around your head Superhero types. These tick the boxes that matter, big and chunky but not heavy and with decent lenses.I would'nt say they were of the highest quality build wise, the frames are made of very shiny lightweight plastic but strong enough nevertheless. The lenses are without any aberrations or distorsion which is a good thing. The're described as having UV400 Protection, but as usual there's no real way of knowing or measuring that claim. All measurements for these Sunglasses are given in the description and I found them to be quite roomy to wear.Comes supplied with a pull-string bag for protection and a polishing cloth, plust the usual bits of written blurb.Although not too expensive I would have liked to have seen them offered at a couple of pounds or so less as the're not really top of the range stuff.4 Stars because I like Retro !
