Was looking for a decent fish spatula and this one fit the price. Used daily. No complaint's :)

Not great quality
The size on these as you can see from the photo are smaller than my other spatula's which would have been fine but the bend on the metal is a little shorter than I feel it should be making it harder to use effectively. I don't feel these are well made the handles were loose coming out of the box. The price is good for 2 spatula's but because of the quality I would not order them again, these feel as if the handle will come apart quickly.

Fish Spatula for $3.50 Each?
I don't understand why anyone would complain about these fish spatulas. I have bought these for friends when they admire mine and this is a steal. They are not like Calphalon, meant to last. They are some simple fish spatulas that make cooking easier. I never used one until I was seventy and now I reach for mine all the time. I have given friends and relatives one of these spatulas and they love them. It is an inexpensive gift that means a lot to someone who likes to cook. If you don't have one, I recommend you buy a two pack because you are going to want to share.

Flexible and Durable
This fish spatula can be a general purpose everything-spatula if you want it to be, so long as you are not using a non-stick pan. The blade is made of stainless steel and is very flexible, which helps you get under the food. But it (like ANY metal utensil) will scratch teflon. Handle is wood, keeps cool, and the entire thing is easy to clean. You get TWO in the package, so you can always have one handy if one is dirty…or you’re cooking a feast.

Pretty well made - great length
These are really nice, slightly flexible spatulas - perfect for turning longer items like fish or steak on the grill or in a pan. They seem well made, with the metal spatula part extending to the end of the handle, held together by 3 rivets - usually a sign of better, longer-lasting construction. The wood handles are smooth and comfortable, and seem to have some sort of finish on them.I like the fact that the tip of the spatulas curve upward. Being metal, I have a little concern about having them scratch when using a non-stick pan. But I think because of the up-turned tip, they can be carefully maneuvered under the meat without scratching.I would love it if these came in a silicone-covered version.

Good, sturdy spatulas
Spatulas are sturdy with a little give, which is expected given the thinness of them and probably what you want to be able to push these under food on the grill. Wood handles are nice and you can see that the metal portion of the spatula through the handle is one piece, so no having to worry about the metal part falling out of the spatula. But because the handles are wood, these shouldn't be kept in water for too long. Comes with 2 S hooks to hang these if preferred. It's unfortunate these are labelled fish spatulas because they're a lot more versatile than a normal spatula and can do almost all the same things, but because they're thinner and longer than most regular spatulas, they're easier to use.

I was excited...
I originally thought these would be a little longer, but I realized they are a bit shorter than my personal preference. That's okay though, I can make these work I thought... but them after using them just once I realized how the handle jiggled on the spatula metal. I could not believe the rivets were loose and even took these into my shop to tighten the Handle down because I have put handles on knives I've made in the past. Unfortunately, even with my tinkering the handles continue to this day to jiggle every time I use them. Perhaps I got a "one off" But I have even attempted fixing the issue and cannot get the handle to be tight. When dealing with frying food I don't want to take a chance at risking the safety of myself or others so I think I will put these in the Only use an emergency bin which is a shame because I truly wanted to love these. These fish style spatulas work great in a cast iron pan, and for just about anything! If anything changes in the future, I'll come back and edit this post.

Good fish spatulas
Overall ImpressionsThese are good quality fish spatulas from HaSteeL. They have wood handles that appear to be unstained/oiled/finished, so you should keep them oiled and wash them by hand.QualityI love the wood. The rivets are slightly not flush with the wood, but not enough to be noticeable when holding them or to cause looseness. It’s more cosmetic or anything. The steel itself has stamped on it “18/10”, to indicate the kind of stainless steel it is. The metal is not flimsy, and there’s no wiggling or any looseness.
