Quantum Leap in Sound Quality
I record in a noisy environment, and this device made a dramatic difference in sound quality (especially used in combination with an audio processing interface). My condenser mic picks up much less room noise, and my vocal tracks now sound much cleaner. Im questioning why i was not aware of these and not using one much sooner. When you think about the cost of this relative to other, much more exensive, recording gadgets- there is no excuse not to have one if you record at home!

Isolates vocals well, build quality is expected.
I have been doing audio production and recording now for about 10 years.I have recorded artist such as Megan Faria, Joey Braxton, and more. I record them in my 1 room apartment, and this was needed but didn’t have it till now, which I am only craving to work more with them now. This works great. Doesn’t make the room silent of course, but, the isolation of the vocals is amazing. It allows your microphone to really pickup and hear everything you put it’s way. It makes the vocals very warm and professional sounding. The only reason I gave it a 5 star, is for the quality of the pop filter. It didn’t come with all the screws attached in it, and one of the screws holding the frame for the mesh luckily was found, so I put that back in. Wish that was higher quality, and I didn’t have to worry about that falling out if I had to adjust anything.But. Overall, great product, I would recommend it for anyone looking to record in their room, and have more professional sounding vocals.

Better Than Nothing
It doesn't magically make your recordings sound the best ever. Depending on the mic you have, it really can make them sound worse... But I've found it works great with a GXL3000.I got this to salvage recording sessions performed in noisy, untreated environments, as part of a mobile setup. And in that regard it's a lot better than nothing, or just a pop filter. It's no substitute for a real studio environment, but when that's just not an option, this is the next best thing.Oh, but probably buy yourself the lower tier model without the metal trim... probably sounds exactly the same for 20 bucks less

Best investment I’ve made in a while
This acoustic foam is great. The better quality mic you have, & the less big noise you have, the better it works. It even comes with a foam adapter if you have a thinner mic. I recorded next to a noisy reefer recently & with this device, it did not pick up any of the sound. Even if you have some minor bug noise, as wind or a fan, once you start recording, it won’t pick up much, if any, of it. This is a must have for recording. I did not even need to add another pop filter.

How'd I Not Know This Existed?
Why I never knew something like this existed is beyond me... this is literally self explanatory in function and can't believe someone else hasn't thought of this. Now a must have in any studio. The pop filter is excellent and works exactly as advertised. Obviously if you're using a condensor mic, this won't eliminate the noise in your environment and you still need to treat it, but this works perfectly for vocal isolation and completely eliminates blow back from the null zone. Literally a must have. May buy a couple extra at some point just to have.

Great product for the price
Changed everything about my vocal setup and well worth it. I'd buy this before the EyeBall everytime.

Works, but may not fit every mic...
It definitely works! Sound is mostly cut off and I'm not in the best conditions. It will NOT solve a non-treated room. This means you may need less ways to treat your recording space. One other thing that turned a 5 into a 4 star is that this will not fit every mic. I have a king bee condenser mic, which is a slightly bigger rectangle compared to the smaller round hole where you put the mic in. I would make it work, it just felt odd having to shove it in so hard. Otherwise, great product!

Works Well in Unfinished and Untreated Basement
Works well, it’s not going to magically treat your room but it does improve overall vocal tone. I’m using it in my basement and it seems to improve the quality of my recordings. I doubt it’s any different than the cheaper model though. Get it if you can afford it, if not build your own for like $12.
