The Hidom BF Range of hang on back aquarium filters are ideal for aquariums up to 160 litres in size and are currently available in three model sizes (BF-200 for aquariums up to 80 litres, BF-300 for aquariums up to 120 litres, and BF-400 for aquariums up to 160 litres). The filters are suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums. Hang on back filters are ideal for creating more space inside the aquarium where a traditional internal filter would take up too much space. With these filters, they are hung over the back of the tank, therefore saving space. These filters also help to oxygenate the water due to the water cascading back into the aquarium. The new design filter provides mechanical, biological and chemical filtration thanks to the easy changeable filter cartridges containing activated carbon. The filters provide excellent filtration performance, with very low power consumption motors. No manual priming required – the new design filter does not require water to be added manually to the filter. I like these filters because they hang out side of the tank and when it comes to cleaning them these no mess goes back in the tank water

Rubbish
This filter came with no instructions and a pile of black beads that spilled everywhere. There’s a bunch of pipe I have no idea what to do with and how this is going to hang on the side of the aquarium. Rubbish.
