I received these sacks to have for the children, and adult children, to have potato sack races on a camping trip. I have not heard of anyone having a potato sack race in a lot of years, but I thought the kids would get a big kick out of these. They are a good size for children and adults alike. There is a string going around the top of them for you to gather the burlap up and around you and tie them off. As with any burlap material, they are good and strong and can hold up to a lot of wear and tear.IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: These are made with burlap. When you receive them, you need to give yourself enough time to air them out before you have to use them. They have a very strong kerosene-like smell to them. Mine have currently been out for over a week now in the house but I have just moved them onto the back porch to try and get them to air out. I also sprayed some fabric freshener on them every now and then while they were airing out. I left mine out for over two weeks before they were used.

Tons of uses because it's biodegradable and very useful in the garden. Used one to transplant a tree, to keep the roots together. Just put the whole thing in the soil to give it stability and it's been a week with no issues. These bags can be used to gather apples, potatoes and then reused again. I was more than willing to sacrifice one for the sake of the tree I transplanted. Having these on hand allows you more possibilities when gardening.

This is my third time posting a review. I have no idea if my pictures are being flagged, so I am posting a review without them. It is frustrating, to say the least.The item received is not as pictured online. The pictures online show thick woven burlap. The ones received are thinner, and the threads are further apart. It sheds like nobody's business, and I do not recommend it being in contact with clothes, especially if wearing dark clothes. They smell bad. And the stitching is questionable.These will not hold up if used for racing. I recommend them only for outdoor decoration or gardening.

These sacks are very thin. I do not recommend them for a game of sack races. Someone's foot will create a hole. On the other hand, these sacks are absolutely perfect for Halloween decorations. They can hold straw or other decorations. I put these draped across my 8' creature. And cut one into a hood. They look amazing and are very easy to work with. If you need burlap for decorations, I highly suggest getting this pack of sacks. The price is so much better than buying a roll of burlap.

Note that these are 39" in height - At 5'10", the sack came up just below my pant pockets. For younger kids, these would be perfect.In my case, I wanted burlap for fall crafts, and these provide a copious supply. The burlap is thinner than some products (you can see my hand through it in the photo) but acceptable.There is a burlap scent, but these do not have the strong diesel-like smell that some burlap products have.These are perfect for my use-case, and I recommend.

Got these for a family reunion to let the kids have "old timey activities" and they thought it was great fun. Got some great pictures of them falling down too. haha.

I didnt expect these to be such great quality. Both adults and kids were able to do multiple races with these and none tore!
