Do not buy
Please do not fool yourself. If you want easy anatomy and deny the complexity of the oro-maxillofacial anatomy, then go ahead, buy this book. If you really want to be serious about oro-maxillofacial anatomy and want to know what you are doing, then look for a well-known or a recognized book in the head and neck anatomy!! i.e, Netter's Head and Neck, Dr. Sue Herring's or any other Head and Neck anatomy book. It goes without saying that head and neck anatomy is overwhelming, but its complexity reflects its clinical importance. After reading the book I do not recommend this book.

there was a lot of unnecessary information Some of the photos are terrible in quality ...
After I encountered a buccal fat pad during one of my surgeries I decided it was time to buy this book to refresh my knowledge. As far as the anatomy that could be encountered during implant surgery I thought the information was presented clearlyThe book could have been half the size, there was a lot of unnecessary informationSome of the photos are terrible in qualitySome of the implant treatment as described is substandard (lack of keratinised tisssue around implants etc)

dissappointed.
This is pertaining to the 2013 version. It sounded like exactly what I was looking for, but....I returned it. It's a visually beautiful book, but has numerous typos. Some of the drawings are less than accurate as well...what's a "trachlear" nerve? Should be Trochlear! What's a "medial superior alveolar..."? Should be "middle superior...". I was less than impressed by the editing. If these obvious errors/inaccuracies got through, what does that say about the rest...how can I trust it's accuracy when it comes to terminology, anatomy etc that I am less than familiar with?
